North Port rejoice!
Thereâs a new restaurant in town and itâs absolutely wonderful.
Taking the space of a former establishment, the interior has been transformed into a fusion of modern and comfortability, I swear I could have been in LA, Boston or New York, itâs that good.
But the food. Yaâll the food.
We started with the Sorullito Bites and two orders of Empanadas, both a masterpiece of yummy.
Our entrees were the Churrasco Sandwich, wherein the steak was cooked so perfectly, caramelized onions, greens, tomato and Swiss cheese on a mouthwatering Puerto Rican sweet bread. Are you kidding me? Seriously?
Insane.
Oh, the homemade chips that it came with were absolutely ridiculous.
My wife devoured their Mar & Tierra Mofongo Bowl⊠the steak, shrimp, onions and peppers, cilantro and Caribbean Mojo delivered an unprecedented culinary experience.
Yaâll, it was all beyond GOOD!
We concluded with a Salted Caramel Cheesecake Mousse⊠I REPEAT: a Salted Caramel Cheesecake Mousse!
It is recommended that you ask which deserts are available, because, you know, 100% homemade.
The vibe was lovely. The service elevated and impeccable.

   Read moreFresh made to order mofongo! Yes, after talking with the staff each order of mofongo is made as you order it. This makes it very fresh. Iâve been to several Puerto Rican restaurants and the mofongo can often be dry. This is because itâs not fresh. Not here they peal the plantains when you order it. Now this takes time to cook, so if you want a quality dish plan ahead to wait for it. This isnât fast food. Sit back, order some drinks and relax, enjoy your company while youâre order it being prepared fresh. I ordered the garlic Mofongo with Pernil, this is their version of pulled pork. Itâs absolutely delicious and super tender and juicy. We also ordered the Papas Locas. Think of it like loaded nachos, but with Homemade potato chips topped with chorizo, chicken, pork, and caramelized onions with cheese sauce, shredded Mexican cheese, crumbled bacon, sour cream and cilantro. My wife got the Permil with rice and beans and she loved it. We highly recommended it. If you havenât had Puerto Rican food before, try it. Hint they love garlic...
