McDonald's — Restaurant in North Port

Okay, a few weeks ago I went to this McDonalds at the corner of Sumter &Price In North Port and ordered two egg McMuffins and presented a BOGO coupon and was informed by the cashier that this location did not accept these coupons. She went on to explain that this location had a new owner and it was his decision, I’ll tell more a bit later. This cashier went a little further by informing me that they also do not give Veterans discounts either. I never asked for a Vet discount I assumed she told me this because I was wearing a hat that I was a Vet. I walked out pledging not to go to this McDonalds again. Sadly I did have to go because a friend asked me to pick her up a hot tea and a sandwich for her ride home. I went through the drive thru and ordered the items and saw a sign for BOGO for taking a survey, this is how I received the other coupon that was denied. Well I got the hot tea and sandwich and delivered them to my friend. She contacted me to inform me that the tea had the correct amount of cream and sweetener however they failed to put in the teabag, my only remark was “MORONS.” Since this tea was close to $2.00 there was no way I was going to let this slide. I went back got a refund and now once again I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS...

So after a day of working and not feeling much like cooking… I cave to the McDonald’s request. Go through the drive through and we are greeted by a snipping individual on the drive thru speaker. We order and pull forward. We pay and are told I can not give you a receipt it printed at the next window. We pull forward… we are given no receipt … ask for ketchup and we wait and hold the bag open so they just have to drop it in. The manager at the window proceeds to say with the worst attitude as she’s handing us out drink tray “it’s in there” “ it’s in there” talking about it being in the drink tray. We pull up and look through our items we are missing a fry, Mac sauce and sweet and sour sauce… people forget things right but the attitude from these women was appalling. We go in to get what we need and go home. Once home we sit down to eat and I kid you not the fries taste like they have not changed the oil out … ever. We rarely eat fast food but this is for sure the last time we will go to this McDonald’s. If we hate our job that much … there’s so many...

Not sure what is up with their night crew…placed my order, went and paid. Was asked if I needed a receipt, I figured I didn’t. Went to get my food. They asked what I got. I told them. They started yelling at each other, then asking for my receipt. I said I didn’t have one, but I could show them the charge on my Apple Pay from a minute ago from McDonald’s. They started yelling saying I forgot what I got.. what’s more likely? I forgot, or someone didn’t put it in correctly? The nice younger lady said she took my order, and what I’m saying is exactly what she took, I did not forget. They just kept saying “well it’s weird you don’t have a receipt.” Like I snuck in this McDonald’s line and stole a cheeseburger and medium fry. Lmao. I kept offering to show my Apple Pay charge from a minute ago. I’m not sure what’s going on, but accusing me of stealing when I have proof of payment, and saying I forgot what I got a minute ago is just terrible customer service.
