Lancellotta's Banquet Restaurant — Restaurant in North Providence

We had a bad experience there yesterday on Easter Sunday we got there at 4pm there wasn't many tables of people when we got there it took over a half hour to get our drinks and about a hour to get soup and bread and over an hour to get all.the other food and then when we did get it there was hair in my daughter's soup then we got the platter of macaroni and there was hair in that we told the waitress and she never gave us another platter untill we ask again my 8 year old grandson and my 9 year old nephew only ate alittle soup with a piece of bread and my son in law only had a bowl of soup with bread and he walked out cause of the hair in the food and they took sooo long to take the rest of the food out and the waitress said oh your was here 4 years ago she remembered us she said but she was not friendly she was very rude when it came. To our food and gave my daughter a attitude when she said to take my grandson off the bill cause he only ate alittle soup and she never ask us if we wanted coffee or desert then my sister brung in a birthday cake for my nephew with candles she brung the cake to the table with the candles in the packages and said who's this for we ask her are you going to put the candles on the cake and sing happy birthday she said no they don't do take 28.00 a person and the food and service suck we would never...

It started with them changing our time on Easter to a hour before they close, then our service was horrible. Hair in numerous plates, was told they're out of food when we wanted seconds. Was told we can only take a laddle of soup home out of the 3 full bowls of soup on our table mind you the tables infront and behind us had numerous full quarts to go on top of numerous take out containers along their whole tables. Then once closing time neared the lights when out quick almost as a "warning" to leave. Told us the kids ate free then charged us then they never ate anything. Food tasted horrible except the soup. It's gone downhill tremendously being we use to go there every Easter but took a couple years off. Hence we won't be back nor do I think they care since every excuse was "they're selling the place"...

Very disappointed! My cousin called to make a reservation for the private room for a funeral luncheon for last Friday. She spoke to Louie on Monday and he told her that they were closed on Mondays and Tuesday and asked her to call back on Wednesday to finalize that date. He did not ask for a deposit at that time…She even went over the menu with him on Monday. BUT when she called back on Wednesday morning, he told her that he just booked another party for that room. They had a verbal agreement which he did not honor…. This is a BAD business practice especially at a time of bereavement. They then had to scramble to secure another venue two days before the funeral. Fortunately, they were able to book Atwood Grill’s private room. Shame on you...
