Overpriced smoothies that are in EXTREMELY fragile cups.
From the get go, we ordered pick-up on Doordash and waited twenty minutes in the store after asking the lady up front where the mobile orders were. She told us they were at a shelf at the front with the orders and names on them. However, that shelf was only for orders on the Tropical Smoothie app. The Doordash orders were on a shelf in the back that we only got after specifically asking that we ordered Doordash. They offered Doordash pickup, so I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have any sign of the order being ready besides on the app. I also overheard an employee there saying that they hung up on someone who was calling, so it’s clear the employees simply want as little customer interaction as possible.
Then, once we actually got the smoothies, one of them wasn’t put in the holder properly and spilled in the car, which wouldn’t be a problem, but the exterior of the cup also got punctured BY THE FALL so the entire thing was leaking. A bit after that, another cup also exploded from the bottom and spilled over my friend. These cups are so flimsy that a light squeeze would break them and the entire smoothie would leak. Overall, 1/2 the smoothies stayed in the cups. I don’t know if the cups were always this flimsy or if they’re just a newer version made of lower quality recycled materials, but if I can’t trust a smoothie cup not to break then I cannot order from...
Read moreTerrible experience. We went as a family of 4 to use our TMobile Coupons. We were so excited because we had never been and figured if we liked it we could definitely go back. The coupon said you could order online or at the store. My son was having a hard time downloading the app so we went in person. The first girl at the counter seemed confused. At one point while we were talking she walked away. Another girl comes to the register and asks if she can help. I said “oh that young lady was already helping us, not sure if she already entered the order” to which she replied that the previous girl didn’t know how to do it and that’s why she was there. 😳 thats fine but the first person could’ve said she was getting someone instead of just walking away mid conversation. 🤷🏽♀️Anyway, so I try placing our order again. I can take no for an answer but the way she informed me that she couldn't help apply the coupon without the app was just rude. she wasnt tryint to help at all and there was nobody behind us at that moment so it wasnt like we were holding up the line. A staff member Veronica I believe her name was (refused to give me her name) dropped my order on the floor and did not even offer an apology. I then asked for a business card with the name of the supervisor and her name. She went to the back and had me wait more than 5 mins. I then informed her that I could no longer wait and if she could just write down the information. She said "Um," and ran to the back and never came back out. Another staff member offered to make the order again and then throw my receipt in the trash when I asked her to simply process my refund. They said they could not and they could not give out the supervisor's name. I then called the police because as an African American I did not want this to escalate where I am the one to blame. The third staff member came out informing me after I was already on the phone with the police that a refund could be processed in 72 hrs. This is the second offense with this staff. I will...
