151 Coffee — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

• Heads up! When 151 Coffee is busy, it's best to go through the drive thru and not order from the window. *

First of all, my wife enjoys 151 Coffee when we're in the area (I think we've been there around 2-3 times now). I'm not much of a coffee, soda, energy drinker so if I've gotten anything here it was probably a tea, but I didn't get anything on this visit.

Anyhow, from our memory of past visits, the service has been fast, the employees have been super nice (even when my wife is having trouble choosing from their vast menu), and my wife likes the drink she gets enough to want to go back when we're around. I'd say they probably deserve all the 5 star ratings they usually get, but we discovered recently that you do not want to walk up and order at the window.

Our last visit, we thought we'd just stroll up and get a drink while waiting for Dirt Cheap to open. We noticed they were very busy, but they were pushing cars through quickly so we thought it shouldn't be too bad of a wait... we were wrong.

I wasn't counting cars, but as we were waiting for someone to address us, we couldn't help but see around 8 or so cars pull up, get their order, drive to window, pay, get their drinks, and drive off.

After a while, we were thinking that they don't take orders at the window and about the time we were considering leaving a employee came out and politely took my wife's order.

While we waited for her drink, another 8 or so cars were taken care of and even a lady that also walked up AFTER us had ordered, paid, gotten her drink and left before we finally got my wife's drink. This was starting to almost feel personal, but we rarely come over here so we must of have just fallen through the cracks.

Anyhow, my wife still like 151 Coffee and we don't think they had anything against us (maybe we were just unlucky that day), so we'll probably be back in the future. But we know not not to even think about using that walk up window...

Sorry other locally coffee shops and famous branded coffee competitors, but 151 Coffee is the Best coffees I ever have! I'm literally obsess with this place! Sometimes we are afraid of changes and try new things. We are confortable with the know. Could turn good or could turn bad. But at least we give the opportunity of try. I was having a terrible day and being trap in the circle of the know, I went to my know branded usual coffee place. The line and the wait was ridiculous! I think about see 151 Coffee. But I was afraid of the unknown place. But I don't want to wait, like I say I was having a bad day already. So I went to 151 Coffee. I get receive with enthusiasm, charisma and courtesy. With a Menu with so much to choose and so much variety, the I don't know what to choose. But I get to choose "The Islander" sugar free medium size extra hot (my personal favorite) and for be my first time was on the house! I proceeded in my car to go get my free coffee for being my first time and I was received with my drink ready to go! I peek from the outside of my window and the personal are all wearing their mask, so happy and full of beautiful energy. Their outfits look so trendy, modern, clean and beautiful! The music was so good! And my coffee, oh my goodness, what a day fixer and full of deliciousness! I been travel at some places here in the USA. But 151 Coffee you win my coffee business. I have to mention that I bring my Dad the same day for he try the coffee too. And guess what, free again! 151 Coffee you all rules! Specially the two Maddie's! So to everyone that made it reading this long review until here, get out from your circle and give a try to 151 Coffee, because you will not regret it and definitely come back for...

This was my first time stopping by to get coffee early in the morning. Was thinking about going to Starbucks, but I decided to support the local businesses for the day and I was lazy to drive further. To my surprise, the coffee tastes amazing. In my honest opinion, a lot better than Starbucks. The coffee was not overpriced and the quality of the coffee is great. I also like to shout out to the staffs that's taking orders outside in the rain. This is an example of how much they care about the quality of service. I judge based on the character of the staffs and it shows they put time and effort into what they really care about. You guys are the face of the business and the backbone.
