2025-04-03 I'm getting very tired of getting COLD TACOS here. This location does not cook them to order and they have a ton of them already cooked, and sitting in the window. I specifically asked for extra crunchy, and they gave me these cold tacos... I asked if they were fresh, and she lied and said they were. I watched her put them in the bag. This manager needs to be fired. Sheer laziness. If she tries to say these were for another order....I was there for at least 15 minutes. No, these were apparently prepped for a lunch rush that never came. Leaving food out like this will make people sick.
Probably one of the worst places for customer service of all the Jack In The Box restaurants I have been to.
On 7/9/2023 at about 1230 in the afternoon. There were about 3 people waiting foe their orders We had about 5 people. The front counter guy didn't know the menu and had to ask someone in the back. Pro Tip: whenever you work somewhere in the food industry, it's a fantastic idea to "know your products" in order to better serve your customers.
So counter guy came back around to the front. At that point someone came in, and the front counter guy turned all his full attention to them, and continued to assist them...
Mind you, this while time, management was standing in the back just talking, and had no inclination to come up front and help with the front counter.
The staff needs retraining on customer service as well as knowing their products, what comes on them, and how to communicate their intentions.
12/2/2023 Against my better judgment, I thought I'd try again. Corporate Jack needs to really reprimand this particular restaurant. This isn't the first time they have been out of Taco Sauce. ProTip: Mention you are out of sauce before someone orders the tacos!
This is a franchise location and it is đŻ % obvious this owner has no clue of how to keep customers happy. The store tables were filthy, food all over the floor, staff not paying attention. Look, sell it to someone else who can take it to the next level, instead driving it...
Read moreI wonder how many of these one star reviews are from first time customers? My degree is in Hospitality Management. I understand that everyone expects a certain level of service from a fast food joint. What I don't understand is people who leave a bad review on one visit and probably blow things out of proportion. I'm not calling anyone out and I know I probably shouldn't put this in my review but Jack in the Box is a fast food burger restaurant It is not a five-star dining experience and was never intended to be. Every time I go to this Jack in the Box... The service is impeccable. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is always clean. There have been a few times where something was forgotten or I didn't enjoy what I ordered and I don't take that out on the staff. I wish I could review it a hundred times to get your review total backup to three and a half or four stars or whatever because I think that most of these reviews are unfair. Now for my actual review for today.
So it is Christmas Day and this location was literally the only place for food on Rufe Snow that was open. It was quite obviously busy, very busy. In spite of being a little overwhelmed and having angry and rude customers, Kyle who was working the register, was visibly flustered, but ran the crew with an efficiency that was better than most people would have put out. He kept as calm as possible and was very very polite with all guests even the ones that were yelling at him. I'm very grateful for the service and I didn't mind waiting because I understand when there are that many people it's going to take a while. That's okay. Just wanted to let you all know that Kyle crushed it and so did the cooks. I'm very pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Thank you for being open, thank you for great service, and thank you for clean facilities. And Kyle deserves a...

Update: 4/28/2024 about 2:40 am. Employees are still doing the up charge practice without first asking the customer. Reduced to a 1-Star, but clearly management couldnât care less since they didnât respond to the last review.
1/23/2024: I went through the drive-thru and ordered the Chicken Fajita Pita combo that is listed for $8.99 for the small combo. The young lady that took my order, automatically put in the upcharge price of $9.99 without asking my permission first. I immediately asked her to make it a small combo, which she did. At the very top of the menu board, it does list the upsize cost to a medium or large.
At the window I asked her if they always upcharge the meals without asking for permission. She asked, what did I mean. I told her I saw she originally charged me $9.99 at first and had to correct her. She then preceded to tell me they are trained to put in the medium combo price first and if the customer wants to change it, they have to ask. HmmmmmâŚ..
When I order something specific with the price shown next to that item, I expect to be charged that price. If there are options to upsize, itâs the restaurants responsibility to ask me if I want that option. By not doing so, this is where the deceptive practices come in. Because you all are making hundreds a day off customers who arenât paying attention. Now, obviuosly $1-$2 is not that big of deal. Itâs the principal behind it. Do better.
I want to make it clear my issue is with management, NOT the young lady who took my order. She did her job exactly as she was trained to do and was very courteous and kind as I questioned her about the upcharge. Im adding a picture of my receipt to show validity...
