The store is clean and nice and well organized. Items were nice but a little high priced for a thrift store. All employees were kind and helpful except one who seemed like a manager. She was a little ridiculous when it came to the dressing room and was not kind. They have a 5 item rule (which few people followed) which I was happy to follow. She saw I had a lot of clothes (about 15) and made sure I knew I could only take in 5 at a time. I took in 5 items and am fast when it comes to trying on clothes and I was in the room less than 5 minutes. I came out and she was standing there (apparently waited on me) and told me she was going to have to give me a time limit. WHAT?!? She said other people need the dressing room. There was NO ONE waiting in line and there were 3 other open dressing rooms at the time. I was quite confused and asked her what does she expect me to do? Come out and stand there, look around, wait, and go back in?? It was ridiculous. If there was a line, of course!!! But there was no one. She argued with me a little and I just hurried and tried on 5 more in like 2 minutes...came out and no one was waiting and finished the last 5 in 2 minutes again. When we checked out she was at the registers and when we walked out my 10 year old daughter heard her call me a "B" and she told me (we DO NOT use that language and she was shocked). First time into the store on 6/23. The only reason this review is getting two stars is because of the wide clothing selection, organization, price point, and quality of items. I saw many items still new with original tags, and higher name brand items. My issue came after we checked out and were leaving. Their receipt printer ran out of paper, so we didn’t get a receipt. Okay, it happens, that’s not the problem. We set off the security alarms. We bring our bag back to the girl who checked us out (because every station is an assisted check out, she scanned every single one of our items). She thought she missed a security tag. She had to dig through each article of clothing to find an original security tag left on the only new with tags item I purchased. The sensor was placed on the inside of a built in sports bra of an active wear dress, so she was digging to find this. No one saw it. Their sensor remover doesn’t work on this type of sensor. She called over a coworker, Brandon, for help. Together their best solution was “sorry. you [me] should have looked harder. you can find a video online on how to remove it. No you can’t return this item because all sales are final.” How was I supposed to know what their security sensors looked like? How were any of us supposed to know there was a sensor inside the garment at a thrift store, when there is a whole team processing and displaying items in a back room? I almost hate to write this review because I don’t want to share the greatness this store has to offer, however, the store, the staff, the management all deserve this. Excellent customer service shown by not one or two but every single employee I encountered. We were greeted nicely when walking in. We weren’t aware, but when we arrived they actually were closing. Not one employee mentioned this to us and just smiled and let us shop. Most retail stores now announce when walking into the store how long you have before they close, making you feel very unwelcomed. This store let us shop for an entire hour after closing and when we apologized when checking out, they were so kind and said no worries. The store is organized, clean, very clearly marked what isle has what merchandise on it. Top notch for sure when it comes to thrifting. Actually top notch when it comes to any retail store. They are definitely doing it right and I can imagine this store will be extremely profitable and amazing bc of the wonderful staff they have acquired.
