Archie's Donut Shop — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

I have been an 'Archie's' fan since Archie was running it and it was across the street. When I heard he was selling it all I could think was "ohhh, noooo I hope the new owners keep Archie's original recipes...and they did!!! The glazed donut was crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside. If you are lucky enough to either get there when they are pulling them out of the oven...Man, you have not had a donut until you have a warm one of Archie's with a big glass of cold milk! So now that I've gone on and on about donuts...I'm gonna make an Archie's run, lol. Have a great day!!! Oh, and the bear claws are soooo goood! Crunchy on the outside and warm, soft and cinnamon-y on the inside!...

I grew up on Archie's I even worked there as a teenager. Yes it has changed owners a few times but each owner still kept the original Archie's reputation. It breaks my heart to say that the owners have ruined the Archie's name. I went this morning to give one last chance and I will never go again!! They have raised the prices!! There were flies in the donut display. NO HOT GLAZED! And worst of all when when I began to complain about the price and how I'd never would come back the employee didn't care at all. No trying to make me as the customer happy at all. Even when my son was pointing out that there was a fly she looked but didn't...

Mini donuts are the best. Drove over, about a 45 min drive, one day when the kids were off from school. It is hard to see from the road. If I hadn't looked at photos on line before we left, I'm not sure I would have spotted it. Lady was very sweet as the kids were disappointed after the long drive that they only had 6 mini donuts left :( We will come back, but not knowing if they will have what we want after a long drive, it won't be that often. Oh, and I did call ahead to check and wastold they had plenty of mini donuts...who knew in 45 min someone would...
