⭐☆☆☆☆ – “The Buffet Bandits Strike Again!” If you love disappointment served hot and fresh, Pizza Inn in North Richland Hills is the place for you! We came in hoping to enjoy a special-order pizza, but apparently, “special order” means “for everyone but you.” They allow only one per table, and when it’s finally ready, they just toss it onto the buffet like a sacrificial offering to the pizza gods. By the time we got to it, we managed to snag a whopping two slices before the buffet vultures swooped in. Oh, and if you’re dreaming of a full cherry pizza, keep dreaming. They flat-out refuse to make one, despite the server saying they would. Instead, they’ll give you a half-cherry, half-chocolate chip monstrosity—because nothing says “delicious” like a confused dessert that can’t decide what it wants to be. And don’t expect a generous helping of cherries; they skimp so badly, you’d think cherries were a rare, endangered fruit. To top it off, our drinks stayed empty long enough that I started wondering if dehydration was part of their business model. Honestly, I’d rather drive an hour and twenty minutes to the Pizza Inn in Durant, Oklahoma, where they actually know how to take an order, serve a drink, and make a full cherry pizza like civilized people. North Richland Hills, do better. Pic of a cherry pizza from Durant included.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review Pizza Inn on Blvd in Fort Worth is that well-worn neighborhood gem where the vibe is laid-back, the food keeps coming, and the energy feels like home. The pizzas rotate steady, so everything stays hot and fresh. The salad bar is simple but strong — way better than you’d expect from a buffet this size. And for dessert, they do cinnamon rolls their own way: a double-decker dessert pizza. When you peel the layers apart, it tastes just like pulling apart a fresh cinnamon roll. Small lineup, but it works. The real highlight though was David. I think his family owns the place, and you can feel that pride in how he moves. He was everywhere at once — cracking jokes, checking tables, running food, keeping everyone smiling — but never missing a beat. He doesn’t just serve, he hosts. David made the whole night feel like a family gathering, and that kind of service is rare. This isn’t a polished chain vibe — it’s real Fort Worth. Comfort food, familiar atmosphere, and a family that makes you feel welcome. That’s what makes this Pizza Inn a true gem.

So i didn’t even know Pizza Inn was still around. In 1974-1975 while in high school I worked as a cook at a Pizza Inn in Dallas. Making money to pay for gas and insurance on my Blue 1969 Charger. It was with shock and delight I learned your Pizza Inn was hosting our Mopar club meeting as I drove my Blue 1970 charger to the meeting. Your store is largely the same (about 80%) as the store I worked. Backing in across from the entrance coming in. Spending time. And leaving back out was such a surreal walk down memory lane for me. Or should I say SO REAL as I felt as I was leaving work in high school the thought of paying for anything (like my meal) never entered my mind. Food was great. Service was great. I appreciate your understanding when i called to pay when I got home realizing what I’d done. I have s feeling stopping to eat there when I take my classic charger out is going to be a regular thing. WOW. What an experience.

Pizza is ALWAYS really good from Pizza Inn... I just bought a supreme pizza Thursday and went to pick it up... EVERY thing was EXCELLENT. Went after Church last night with a group of about 12 or so. Food was excellent as always, but they were not prepared to serve buffet to a small party. One waitress for the whole group and she was very forgetful.... But also overwhelmed. Don't know if it was inexperience or being scattered brained. Part of our group got their food orders, while the six farthest away from the buffet barely got any. I was the first to order and never did get my pizza... But two of the six I was sitting with ordered the same pizza, so they shared their SECOND one when it appeared I was not going to get any. Also the salad seemed old. This Pizza Inn has been in that location 40yrs or more... So I would say, that it's more likely the one wait person was overwhelmed to serve a buffer to a party... Where one can order their specific pizza also and still call it part of the BUFFET rather than regular ordering. I hope that explains it. They were not busy and I saw at least one more waitperson that should have helped. I was disappointed in the service, but it is usually excellent bc our group goes their often enough where this time was a bad night for the service. Several people left upset over the service, not just myself. Will this cause me to not go back, and eat buffet... Probably. But order in the phone for pickup or delivery, NO. I will still buy from Pizza Inn when I am hungry for an individual GREAT...

The last few times I have been, the quality has gone down each time and I am so disappointed. I have grown up on Pizza Inn and this is one of the last remaining Pizza Inns in Tarant County. I have been visiting this location for probably close to 20 years, and more frequently after the location by me closed down but it seems like the recipes have changed in the last few years. The buffet this evening was not good. They just left cold, dried out pizza on the buffet the entire time I was there. (7:00 pm on a Sunday night) The restaurant was pretty busy so we expected them to refresh the buffet regularly but all they refreshed was pepperoni and the cheese bread. So my daughter and I paid $8 for a few sticks of cheese bread and some lukewarm meatless spaghetti. (They used to have meat sauce, but that has now been changed, which I assume was to cut costs but if they would stick to the quality and taste they used to have they wouldn't have to cut cost, being the only Pizza Inn in the Northeast Tarant area, they would stay busy with people who love Pizza Inn) The restaurant seemed dirtier than normal and it just made me sad to see a piece of my childhood slipping away. I hope that this location can get it together before it too closes. From now on, I guess I will be visiting one of the few remaining locations that my friend recommended after she too stopped coming to this location because it was so...

I would give this order a 0 stars of I could. I ordered from the website and was expecting what I ordered. When I got my order I was confused bc I had 3 small salads. I called the store and spoke with a lady and she basically told me she doesn't know what's on the website she just works there. I asked why my receipt says I ordered 3 large salads and got smalls. The lady then told me that they only have 1 size salad. I asked if I could speak with a manager and she said I would have to call back I called back and tried discussing this with the "manager" he didn't care what I had to say. He said the don't look at the ordered just the price and even though the website said one thing their prices were different. As the customer how do I know that. He told me to call the store and if I wanted a menus I would have to go to the store and get one. In the middle of me asking questions and trying to get him to instance my frustration HE HUNG UP THE PHOBE ON ME MID SENTENCE! WHO DOES THAT! The workers there just Letang do not care! I just moved here. This was the first time I've ever eaten at this chain of restaurants and the experience was horrible. He didn't even offer a solution or to make it right. He just kept repeating that the website is wrong and oh well. Not even a sorry! If I could have spoken with the owner I would have! I pray that the manager is not the owner. I don't know if I will ever...
