It's taken me a few days to gather myself, my emotions, and mental health after leaving Ft. Worth and my experience at this coffee place. I typically order an iced caramel latte or an iced matcha from Starbucks or Dutch Bros. However, I found this place driving to work, and after some research, I read that they support veterans so as instead of grabbing my coffee from Starbies or Dutch I decided to give them a shot. I drove into their drive thru and ordered my typical order which is an iced caramel latte and their breakfast sandwich, I specifically asked for it to be made with half and half please they asked me for my name and then I drove around the young lady took my payment and I proceeded to wait. About 2 minutes later, a lady opened the window and asked me what was I waiting for, to which I answered a breakfast sandwich and an iced caramel latte. She scuffed and closed the window. She came back about a minute later and handed me the sandwich. She then says have a good day, I answered ma'am I am missing my caramel latte she answered and very annoyed at this point we already gave that away I explained not sure to whom but you can see in my vehicle I don't have my drink in here. She then tells me it's a hot caramel latte, not an iced latte. I explained ma'am I don't drink hot coffee. She then rolls her eyes and says fine and shuts the window very aggressively. I didn't respond and waited at that point there was a line growing. She opens the window about 2 minutes later, and as an avid coffee drinker, specifically a latte, I know what a latte is supposed to look like. I look at it and it has the color of a dulce de Leche leaning more towards a coffee with a dash of milk as opposed a traditional latte, I didn't reach for it while she had it in her hand I asked ma'am was that made with half and half ? She says yes I said ma'am I asked for a latte." She says I just saw her make it I explained it doesn't look right, and my latte is typically lighter in color. She proceeded to start yelling and telling me how they just made it and how would I know if it's a latte if I haven't even tried it? At that point, I explained the color a color of a latte. Isn't that color she answered back, How would you know ? At this point, it seemed like I was annoying her by just being there, to which I answered her. Can I please get a refund? She then says ma'am I can remake it if you'd like, but you're going to hold up my line more than you already have." I said ma'am just give me my refund back please. She shuts the window but leaves a little crack open. I can hear her mumbling things under her breath, annoyed to be giving me a refund. She then opened the window and then said, I need your credit card and the sandwich back I said ma'am there's nothing wrong with the sandwich." Please give me the refund for the coffee." She just looked at me and she slammed the window, she proceeded to click some buttons on the screen and then opens the window and hands me my card, I then waited for my receipt but I didn't get it she then says what I say can I please get my receipt she then let's out a very loud sigh rolls her eyes prints out the receipt and proceeds to throw it at me while I had my hand extended out. I sat there on shock. I pulled in to their parking lot with my foot in a boot as I currently have a bad sprain. I gentle man opened the door for me I say thank you and go up to the counter and asked for the manager, just so happens to be her she's peeking her over. A very nice young lady her name is Sarah explained that the lady that I was dealing with is the manager I asked for her boss and his regionals name. Sarah proceeded to point to the right and explained his card is right over there and I could call him but he was off and but if I left my information for him he would call me back and that she would call him now. She then explained to her manager that I wanted her to call Matt who is the GM. Sarah then comes back and explains that he is with his family but to leave my information and that he would follow up with me on...
Read moreBeen using BRCC since their first bag in 2014, when Evan was roasting in his basement. It fills me with joy to bring my British mate here on 4th of July.
The Review: Store was absolutely immaculate, not a stray napkin, straw wrapper, or shirt was out of place, we showed up around 11:30 and the line was close to the door.
It only took us 10 minutes of waiting and looking through the curated bags of coffee shirts and hats the time really flew by.
I ordered a cold brew with the toasted marshmallow foam and it was delicious, I strongly recommend BRCC cold brew, it is delicious, some cold foam it makes a great middle of the day treat.
I also picked up a can of “combat coco” for the kids. They were excited when I gave it to them and can not wait to try it.
My mate tried a double espresso and he had nothing but good things to say about it, our machine died the same morning, it was a nice pick me up.
BRCC when you strip away all the slick marketing is a good company doing good things in community’s, and they are constantly giving back. That is what is important to remember here, it is easy to get lost in the endless shout outs by your favorite politicians.
Following the company for as long as I have and knowing some of the individuals it is about giving back and taking care of each other. I’m happy to see that they have chosen the DFW metroplex as a worthy market to get...
Read more5 Stars for Black Rifle Company and Their Heavenly Cappuccino! ☕💥
Let me start by saying, if you haven’t tried the cappuccino at Black Rifle Company, you’re basically living life on hard mode. I walked in expecting a regular coffee experience, but what I got was a caffeinated masterpiece that could probably power a small rocket.
The cappuccino was so smooth, it felt like my taste buds were getting a warm hug from a barista angel. The foam? Perfectly fluffy—like a cloud that decided to take a coffee break. And the espresso? Bold, rich, and unapologetically American, just like the vibe of the place. I half expected to hear the national anthem playing in the background as I took my first sip.
The atmosphere at Black Rifle Company is just as awesome as the coffee. It’s like walking into a mix of a coffee shop and a tactical gear store, but somehow it works. The staff is friendly, the energy is high, and the whole place smells like freedom and freshly ground beans.
I’m pretty sure this cappuccino gave me the confidence and strenght to tackle my entire to-do list, wrestle a bear, and maybe even file my taxes early. If you’re looking for a coffee experience that’s equal parts delicious and badass, Black Rifle Company is your spot.
10/10 would recommend. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go figure out how to get this cappuccino on a...
