I called them up on a Friday afternoon and asked about an install. They recommended coming to the shop on Saturday morning to discuss in detail. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and already had 2 others in front of me.
We discussed what I wanted and I told them I was undecided on what speakers/box I wanted to go with. They asked me questions about my music tastes and made recommendations about what would probably best suit my vehicle and preferences. He even told me that (because I was undecided) that he'd let me try out the speakers/box for a few days and bring back if I didn't like how they sounded.
I asked about scheduling the install and they said they could install in a few hours and could start immediately if I wanted. I expressed to them that my truck had great sentimental value because it belonged to my late father. They assured me they'd take good care of it.
After a few hours, they called me and advised that it was ready for pick up. I went down to the store to pick up my truck and let me say I was blown away with how incredible the system looked and sounded. They even upgraded my alternator wires to ensure I wouldn't have issues with the current draw of the system. Besides how great it sounded, I was most impressed with how nice and honest they were. I will definitely be back for more business...

I had to return 5 times to get a sensor issue fixed, just for the "technician" to turn my bass up too high resulting in my speaker being blown and wires melted almost setting my car on fire. Versus fixing the issue free of charge, since he caused the damage, all he could say was sorry. I went to another business to get the problem fixed costing me over $400. The owner had nothing to say and always pushed work unto the "technician". Customer service needs to be worked on and as the owner, he needs to know when to step in.Military person who just moved to the area and was disappointed drastically!AVOID!!
Response to owner: Being that your customers are service members, you would think quality service is the bare minimum. The car was serviced free of charge because the “technician” wasn’t qualified. That is very clear to me now. I purchased the $160 sensor from this establishment. If you or the “technician” in this case since he does everything felt my equipment was subpar, why work on it? Read moreOk so, I have been using Cartoys all my life until now. I had an issue with my Alarm that I purchased from Cartoys for over $600 with a lifetime warranty. I took it back, and Cartoys told me that they no longer sell that brand, and I need to buy a completely new Alarm for another $600. Which is ridiculous. I called " Car Sound Inc" and spoke with a gentleman who explained what might be happening. He said, "Come on down." So I took it in, and he immediately looked and said 1st this is a lifetime warranty that anyone can warranty even if they dont sell the system. 2nd this is an easy fix. It happens due to our hot summers here in Texas. He said, "I got you," fixed it right on the spot, and didn't even charge me. I will never go back to Cartoys again. Car Sounds INC. Is my go-to spot from here on out. I highly recommend them to take care of any audio needs you may have. Thanks guys.
