Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in North Richland Hills

This location hasn’t been open long. My wife and I went when it first opened and the service and food was amazing. Fast forward to today…. I wanted the “4 Cheese Burger” but only wanted American cheese. I was told that I would be charged for each additional slice of cheese if that is how I wanted it so I questioned, “doesn’t it already come with 4 slices of cheese?” I was informed that they don’t sell a burger with all American cheese so I would be charged for each additional slice of cheese even though it was REPLACING the three other existing slices of cheese. I decided to change my order all together; so I ordered the mushroom bacon Swiss burger, and it came out extra soggy. It was almost like a Salisbury steak with Swiss cheese thrown on top of it, topped with a tomato and just drenched in mushroom gravy. I couldn’t even finish my sandwich. Never again. My wife ordered the Chipotle burger and she told me all she could taste was the avocado. Very disappointing from our positive past experiences. Also, this was the first time we have ever visited a Braum’s where the fries were not crispy, hot and fresh. And they weren’t even that busy for meals to be rushed and/or not have fresh product. As many locations there are to choose from in the area, we will choose another location if and when we decide to give this chain another...

Sorry Braums ( Irving TX / Story Rd) you've Been replaced. My Girlfriend and I found a nicer ice cream parlor to enjoy. While I don't have pictures of the place. I wished I had thought to take some. But it's a nice little shop run by some Hindu folks. Avd I have to admit that I prefer it for a number of reasons. 1. It's Clean , 2. It's quieter. 3. The ice cream is creamier and tastes better. Granted these two places are different in the fact that one is strictly an ice cream parlor where the other one serves hamburgers and fries. Etc but at least the little Hindu owned shop is clean, both of my last two visits to the story road location it was dirty. Having said that. I still go to the Braums store that is just off of 820 for food and ice cream. Basically because it's close to where I live. ( North Richland Hills) and is always well maintained, the people there are nicer and of course the food is great. Maybe I'm being picky. these days I prefer Braums over Whataburger. . and Macdonald's. But I have expectations, and the Story Rd location has continually...

My girlfriend and I come to Braum’s often it is our little treat after a long day or during a road we love them. But this location has been awful when it comes to service every time we have gone into other Braum’s and ordered our ice cream and food from the ice cream counter with no problem. But coming to this one there is no sign that says it’s for ice cream only and we’re told at the register after ordering our ice cream it is only for that. So when I went to order a combo with my cherry limeade and trick or treat mix I was told I couldn’t order food here. Now I’m reasonable and can understand if there was a line but we were the only ones standing at either register no one offered any help and we were looked at like we were the problem. We have never had this problem at any other location accept this one and with them being new and a few locations not far from here they would work on better service at...
