I just spoke to the Dir. of Operations for North Ridgeville and 14 other stores and he explained they were having trouble with entering the coupon codes for the 3-topping, large $7.99 special and the "FREE 16pc Parmesan Bread Bites." He said there was a misunderstanding on how to handle it and the young employee apparently misunderstood. He said it will be a teaching moment for their staff.
For my hassle, Dominos is sending me a gift card for a bit more value than the Parmesan Bread Bites. I am happy with the resolution.
I'm REALLY disappointed that the North Ridgeville Domino's Pizza did NOT honor their coupon for a "FREE 16pc Parmesan Bread Bites with Purchase" when I picked up my order.
I told the girl who took my order over the phone that I had a card for this offer and to please add it to my order. She asked for the promo code which I gave her. When I went to pick up the order, she said that her manager called the store the PREVIOUS day and said not to accept the "Secret Santa" offers any more. WHAT?!
I have three issues with the way this was handled:
I have lost faith in the North Ridgeville Domino's Pizza to accept coupons in the future, especially since the girl did not tell me when I placed my order that they were not honoring this promotion as of the day before.
Aren't businesses legally obligated to accept coupons/offers/discounts as long as the customer meets all the rules of the offer? This coupon had an expiration of 1/31/21 (as you can see on my attached photo) which makes today the last day of the offer... NOT yesterday. If it isn't a legal responsibility, it is certainly just good business to keep your customer's loyalty.
The girl took the Parmesan Bread Bites that were sitting on my pizza box away when I said I wouldn't pay for something that was suppose to be free. So what did she do with the Parmesan Bread Bites? I hope she didn't give them to another customer as they got cold. Or did she throw them out when she should have given them to me as part of my order?
I believe there needs to be some training on how to properly handle what I think is a simple situation. It's too bad I had to take time out of my day to scan the coupon and write this...
Read moreWorst service I have ever seen last week we order coke with pizza and we never received they said we going to have our driver bring it and an hour after I called them they said the driver left it outside but never did we have cameras and today we ordered stuffed cheese and cocke we got sprite instead and cheese bread with pepperoni we called they said ok but give us the food Back any way we don’t eat pork but one of my boys accidentally drank a little from the sprite so after we gave the cheese bread and sprite back to the driver and received the correct order 45 min we received a a phone call saying we have to charge you for sprite I was like yes charge me but I told her wait ma’am what about the coke we never received last week she said I don’t know I wasn’t there I told her give me your manager and the surprise that she was the manager what a joke what kind a manager is this. I worked as a waitress before and we never we miss up any order we keep apologizing and give the meal for free and dominos want to charge me for a cup of sprite while I got charged for a coke that I never received and waited today 45 minutes to receive the correct order on top of their bad attitude. To my surprise everything was perfect and super tasty 😋. So a few days later I ordered again, thinking they'd screw something up this time... They didn't... 😐
So I'm like:" What's going on here? 🤔 Ah, I know! Third time is the charm. They'll definitely screw my order now." And so I ordered a 3rd time... Flawless...
What the hell Dominos!? 😤 What are you up to? Trying to make a believer out of me? Guess what? It's working!
It's February 2021 and I think I've ordered a good 12 times now? No issues. HOW??? 🤯 Well I don't care but I will say this: I will keep ordering from them because I know eventually they WILL screw up. And THEN I will come back here, say I GOT YOU! and give them a one star review talking all about how they screwed my one order! One of this days it'll happen. Until then, I'll be watching an waiting... I got my 👀 on...
