My first time at Augie's was approximately 20 years ago. Had ribs and pizza and didn't enjoy my meal at all. Tonight, March 2023 was my first time back since then. When we walked in there was a sign saying wait to be seated, a woman behind the desk said someone will be right with us. After several uncomfortable minutes standing at the sign, we were told to pick either of the booths up front. Several minutes later a waitress came by and gave us menus but did not even take a drink order. Several minutes after that she told us that their "technology" wouldn't link our order to our table if we could move to a different booth..... (There's probably 10 tables with six tables already occupied and eating, how hard would it be to really know where the order goes?) But we move to another booth anyway. After being there for probably 12 to 15 minutes not getting any attention or a drink order taken, we decide to leave and try a competitor across the street. Maybe we'll try again in 2043.... UPDATE 3-29-23 The owner reached out and apologized for the fiasco earlier in the month. My wife and I decided to give it another shot, and we are very happy we did! The service and food excellent! We ordered a pizza and a half rack of ribs dinner. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasty. I'm kind of a cole slaw connoisseur, and the Cole slaw was excellent! We will definitely be back to try some of their other offerings. Check it out, it's worth it! Update 9-16-24 Excellent meal! Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti, Salad with cheese, olives, hot pepper rings, bread and butter! Tons of food, tasted great. Give it a try!

Ordered a sheet pizza 2 days in advance as they required 24hr notice. Disclosed I would be using a coupon and confirmed total with $5 off coupon and 4% cash discount. Came with exact cash, presented coupon (which was not expired) and was told that they updated the coupons on their website and the coupon was now $4 off. That’s great, I have the one that says $5 off. Mentioned this to the manager and was ignored. Kid at counter was rude, said the system changed and it was now $4. Rather than make a scene, since manager already heard me say it was $5, went back to the car to get $1 in change. Got dirty looks from the cashier and when I said have a good day he ignored me. Not the way to get return business! UPDATE ON OWNER JOE'S RESPONSE: Please don't lie to the general public about the expiration of your coupon. I uploaded one folks, see for yourself. His supposed expiration was self imposed, NOT in the terms. Joe was not present when I kindly said have a nice day, nor was he present when I came back with change and was treated rudely by his staff. He will apparently say anything to save face, even when he has no grounds to claim I was not a ‘happy camper’ other than this negative review. I gave you 1 star for the food and 1 start for the service because those distinct gradings were mine and my families' experience. Yes, the pizza was 1 star, would not recommend. I was quoted a different price over the phone than I was charged at the counter. Bad experience. Do better!

Stay away! I just got the Rib Family Special and it was one of the worst meals my family has ever had. The ribs were tiny, attached is a picture of how much meat came off one of the largest bones. I would have been ok with small ribs if the flavor had been alright. The ribs were so burnt the outside was like chewing bark. I ended up having to throw away ALL of the coleslaw because after 1 bite it tasted like the base was unwashed sauerkraut mixed with mustard. It turned my stomach immediately like it was spoiled. The "garlic bread" was straight up frozen garlic bread with sliced cheese on top. That was the only thing my kids "kind of" ate. (Though my 4yrs old, who is a bread fanatic, took one nibble and refused to touch it) If you are debating between Augie's and literally any other establishment, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
