Denoia's Pizzeria — Restaurant in North Topsail Beach

This is an edit from my initial review , I can afford to eat out only a few nights a week because it's so expensive. We all bust our butt for our money I hate just throwing it down the drain. The owner here says instead of blasting me online why didn't you call for me to fix it, but when you call he says he was there and saw your order and it "looked fine to him" so w.e I'm done with this place and they should be counting their days, in my hometown this place would fall apart and no I'm not from up north so that should tell you something. I'm super pissed tonight. I ordered a wrap for my wife if I recall it cost around $13 is was no bigger than a 2/1$ bag of chips ( pictures of all are attached) you guys can deny what you want on our online reviews but you cannot deny photos!! Next I ordered a stromboli paid $2 extra for extra cheese extra pepperoni without mushrooms, it came without sausage as well for what ever reason but check out the pictures on this it barley had anything in it at all. 3 I ordered a large Italian sub with oil and vinegar on the side but it came to my doorstep falling apart soggy because it had so much oil and vinegar on it....even the delivery driver said hey how's it going if it's messed up please don't be mad at me its the people who made it (on my doorbell cam for proof ) .look at photos I paid almost $20 for this sub since I added extra meat for $3.50 more. I've had the subs with extra meat and you can't hardly bite into them but the last two times i have been ripped off.check out the pictures for yourself. What a rip off. I'm done tonight was my last straw with this place. Never ever going to see another dollar from me you guys can blame it on staff once or twice but after that you just suck! Extra cheese and pep...

I promise I do not have an axe to grind. I am a first time customer and we were referred to try this place. After work one night we were too tired to go out so we ordered in pizza. I ordered the Steak and Cheese Bowl, Garlic Parmesean Wings, and a Large BBQ chicken pizza.

Service I tried 3 times to order online before it worked. It first lost my order twice. I then called after the second time but they rep insisted I try online because if it worked it would be better to use. I tried again and got it to work the third time. The email said it would be an hour for it to arrive but it took a little over an hour and a half. Had I know it would have taken this long I probably would have gone to pick something up. All the driver could say is, "Sorry man, we are busy tonight."

Food The Garlic Parmesean Wings are the same as Em'R Wings and were great!

The steak bowl was ok at best. The meat seemed like it had been sitting in water and lacked quality. It was not terrible but definitely not good quality.

The pizza, to be honest, was the worst pizza I have ever had. My travel companion and host said that same. The crust was hard and cold and the pizza lacked flavor. We ate what we could but did not hesitate to throw out the rest. It is possible they were excessively busy and that affected quality but for this first timer it assured I was a last timer. Maybe if I went in the experience would be different but I would not recommend this place...

We ordered delivery. The app they use tells you it’s been delivered when the driver leaves the store. We called about 10 min after the app said delivered and were informed of this and that 2 orders were ahead of ours…..this was over an hour after ordering when the store is 9 min from our vacation rental. Totally fine but I find it hard to believe all these rave reviews of their pizza….they not only got the pizza order wrong but also there was literally not a bit of sauce (just add extra sauce on your order)….the most dry pizza I’ve ever had in my life. The wings were fried just right but the sauce leaves a lot to be desired. Couple that with the fact ranch and blue cheese covered the wings we ordered it wasn’t the greatest. Cheese sticks I’m sure would have been great had it not taken over 25 minutes to get to us (again we were 9 min away). For over $85 for pizza, wings, and cheese sticks I was disappointed given the quality of the food and the wait time. Recommend picking your order up and not doing delivery. To the manager whose response is ALWAYS “you should have asked to speak with me”….just give good food and service….most people are on vacation and looking for a good quality delivery service after hours at the beach…..we shouldn’t have to be a “Karen” when spending what we spend. Papa John’s would have honestly been better and...
