👋🏻 Hey fellow Google Maps users! ☺️ I went to the Beggars Pizza Whiting location on Sunday, April 28, 2024, to get some early dinner with my boyfriend and his younger brother.
⏰ Wait Time & Service: The day & time we went, there was no wait. We were immediately able to get seated no problem. Our server was Elena. She was very sweet & attentive. She got us refills without us even asking. She went above & beyond for customer service. She needs a raise stat. 😩👏🏻
🍕 Food: The food tasted so good! We ended up ordering 1 order of mozzarella sticks, 1 order of cheesy potato munchers (I highly recommend this if you like tater tots with cheese, reminds me of the cheesy tots from Burger King), 1 large sausage + pepperoni thin crust pizza, & 1 sausage + cheese deep dish pizza.
🍽️ Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience with my visit at this location. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area or craving pizza from Beggars Pizza. I had a great experience up until the end. My boyfriend, his younger brother, & I were exiting out the place and we said thank you to the people in the front. The 2 young women in the front that day didn’t say anything to us, which I thought was a bit rude (in my opinion at least). Aside from that, great service & delicious food.
🕹️ Bonus: They had a cute, nostalgic arcade at the back of the restaurant. I love arcades in general, so it was nice visit the arcade after we finished eating. I’m not sure if all Beggars Pizza locations have an arcade, but definitely a great addition to the restaurant especially for families.
💌 I hope this review helps this Beggars Pizza location & its current and future customers.

Read moreOhhh where to start. We had a large party of 11 adults and 3 children. However, we were the ONLY people in the restaurant when we arrived. It took the server over 25 minutes just to greet the table. We should've left at that point. However, we stayed and continued to wait over 90 minutes for 2 large pizzas, 2 kids meals that consisted of burned to a crisp dino shaped nuggets, and a chicken caesar salad without the chicken because she forgot. It was bad...beyond bad. The server kept disappearing. I went to the carry out counter and purchased drinks numerous times...Still, no one else in the restaurant besides some guys at the bar. We had family here from all over the U.S. and this was far from the experience I was hoping for. I felt bad for bringing them to such a bad experience. We did make the best of it, we had a great time reminiscing, I wish I had brought some cards or something because it was such a long wait for everything...The bill was over $200 and we left a $75 tip only because some of us have been servers or bartenders at some point. The server needs to be re-trained. Timing is everything. We got our appetizers before our drinks and had 4 beers before our pizza came.... That...
Read moreI ordered pizza to pick up on my lunch break. I'm a loyalty member, so I tried to use a reward I'd earned. The woman taking my order said she couldn't see my reward, even though I was signed in, looking at it. Finally she said print out what you are seeing and we'll get you your free cheesy bread. I waited for close to 15 minutes in line while a single worker had trouble cutting individual sliced pizza for a small group in front of me. I showed her my print out of my account and she got the manager who said she could have the cheesy bread delivered, since they hadn't made it ahead for me. I didn't want to pay the delivery fee so asked if I could have a couple of dollars off instead, but she declined. She said my reward is good until the end of May, even though I told her I usually only do one order a month. I really like Beggars pizza, love the cheesiness, but it is pricey in comparison to other places. The loyalty rewards offsets that a bit, which I had appreciated. I'm not saying I'll never be back, but there are tasty pizza places in Whiting that aren't as expensive and where I've never had a customer service issue. I think I'll frequent those establishments...
