Schoop's Hamburgers — Restaurant in North Township

I usually enjoy every visit to Schoops but yesterday was not all that great. First, the AC wasn't working and it was very hot outside and very warm inside. The waitress was very friendly and did her best. First off when my patty melt was brought to the table it wasn't cut in half which isn't that big of a deal but when I asked for a knife to cut it she said they're all in the dishwasher except for one of them that was in my wife's basket sitting across from me. I just used hers but it was kind of weird excuse. So get one out of the dishwasher. Plus the sandwich was just okay. I mean it's pretty hard to screw up a patty melt but this one didn't have a lot of cheese on it and the bread wasn't very well toasted when they put it on the grill I'm assuming. And the sandwich just kind of fell apart in my hands while I was trying to eat it. Again overall it wasn't a terrible experience but between the AC not working and that weird excuse about not having a knife and then the sandwich just being borderline, it was just an okay experience. I'll go back because I like Schoops but it was a not so great experience this time. I mean air conditioning not working and it's like 90° outside? They should have had a check in there urgently to fix that cuz who the hell wants to sit in a restaurant that's 80° inside...

I've been to Schoop's hamburger and it was an excellent meal. The burgers are juicy and very tasty. They are served on very nice buns. They have all the stuff that you would like to put on a burger. The wait staff was excellent. The wait staff are very jovial in the way they work. That means they give you a little bit of something that you might not expect but you will enjoy the way it is served. I am talking about the way they treat the customers with a very nice way of making them enjoy the food. They give you a little bit of a tease and after the teas they give you a little bit more and if you don't know what's going on you would never have been in a Shoop's place because that's the way the waitresses work. I enjoyed the fun I had eating and having a nice time speaking with the waitresses. Those waitresses work hard and they make sure that the customers enjoy their food and enjoy some time. A year ago i gave 5 stars and wrote this..Burgers are the best and people at this location are always nice... Today 1/2/20 i am retracting that comment. I have never had a bad experience until today. So i order a mickey burger as usual and when it gets to me at home it's a Turkey burger. The young lady offered to fix it so i sent someone to get it, now the edges are more burnt than usual and not enough fixings to soak up the burnt part. I called back asked for the manager she is to busy to take the call so she made a offer that i feel is unacceptable. So now im feeling some kinda way likewhy does it have to be this dramatic just to make a decent offer to a loyal customer for 3 year's. Im trying to stay positive but you have lost my trust.
