I ordered an iced London fog latte and after waiting in a line that was 5+ minutes (I was patient and understand good things take time! I was in no rush at all!) I got to the window and what seemed like a manager or lead gave me my drink and told me to never order that item again, it takes too long and nobody wants to wait, it will taste terrible, And that the drink should not be ordered at Starbucks stores due to the inconvenience it causes. This lady was being sincere and had a nice attitude, but she was standing in front of other employees who were clearly disgruntled by the order and when I said, "I'm so sorry! I won't order it again it's okay! I was hoping it wouldn't be a pain in for you guys" an the workers just seemed disgruntled it seemed. I understand the drink takes time and can cause a hold up. Read moreNote to management. Typically I go here and it is great service. I rarely drink coffee. However, lately the staff has been rude and attempting get customers to enter there own card information to try and get tips.
First of all, the drive thru window is literally 5 feet away from us.
Secondly, that takes up entirely too much time and we are already waiting long enough.
Lastly, I can understand wanting to get tips during the holiday season but you can't force that responsibility on Starbucks customers.
Starbucks is a billion dollar company. I'm tired of corporate companies attempting to put the burden of higher wages on the people rather than pay you guys higher wages.
This is unfortunately happening everywhere, even subway.
I don't mind giving a tip when I can but every single visit is obsurd.
This is a poor practice regardless. Please stop. Sorry, I understand it but you will cause a bad environment if you continue to use this method of customer responsibility. Just give me my order next...
Read moreI came in and expected to place my order with a neutral if not polite employee, but the cashier Alyssa was hostile and rude immediately and seemed like she didn’t want to take my order. Upon looking at other reviews I see this location is known for racist and discriminatory employees. It took 20 minutes for 4 drinks and the barista Holly didn’t announce one drink the entire time. I understand being in a rush but to have such a hostile demeanor in a customer service position is bewildering.
