Potbelly — Restaurant in North Township

So I just left from eating in the potbelly sandwich shop located at 9148 calumet Ave. I’ve lived in this area for about three years and always come to this sandwich shop. For some odd reason gluten and I don’t always seem to get along, so whenever I come in and place my order I get a wreck with extra everything, I always ask for the top of the sandwich to be cut off and the bottom of the sandwich to also be pulled out as much as possible with out the bread breaking. So I eat it like an open face sandwich. When I walked up to the counter, the lady asked me what type of sandwich I wanted, “was the Swiss cheese ok”, what size did I want and “ White or multi grain”. I answered and told her that I wanted a regular wreck on multigrain, I didn’t want cheese and asked her if she could cut the top half of the bread off. Again, this is the same way that I’ve always gotten my sandwich over the last three years. I was even there yesterday and ordered it the same way with no complications. I guess the employee who was over putting the condiments on the sandwich at that time and the General manager thought I was asking too much. I even informed the employee and the general manager that I was just here yesterday and that I’ve been here several times before and this is never been a issue. As the general manager of the store it’s your job to sold problems, teach, smile and properly communicate. She chose to do the opposite. She made no eye contact with me when addressing me, had a attitude about my request and didn’t try to fix the solution at all. She even stated to her employees “ I wouldn’t have suggested you do that” that’s not leader material and that was A terrible example of customer service. The workers I hope are better than this, I placed an order yesterday July 2 I asked for the chocolate brownie cookies they gave me the wrong ones which is what they commonly do when they don’t have your cookie and I really love potbelly I was just so frustrated and called and asked why not just tell the customer and let them make that choice the manager then made the statement that there was a new person and they must have misread and i understood, however I was really disappointed my child is sick and just really loved the cookies the manager offered three free cookies an extra one for the frustration for the two cookies I hadn’t received, do you know the manager lied? I told you all I love potbelly I reordered again today explained to the vet polite young lady the situation and whatnot was promised and she only gave me one cookie which is fine but my original order was two but I was just thankful she was kind enough to give me the one, she told me the manager never left a message or anything and lied about giving me the free three cookies, honeslty if I could go elsewhere I would but I love the cookies and my baby does to but I’m just so disappointed

I patronize this on an evening, where I plan to sit out on the patio, where several other customers were enjoying the weather. Unfortunately, the system was down and the manager Ramon. The time told me that he could not apply my Bogo Potbelly Park in the interim, he offered me soup, sitting on the side of the counter, with no utensils outside of the warmers, which were not up to correct temperature.

Because the systems were not working I said hey I’ll take soup if you are giving it at a discounted rate because it is not in the proper containers, and I know it is closing time Ramone and proceeded to call me ignorant and out of my name and I will never be OK with disrespect after I have patronize the restaurant spending my hard earned mone while Business is not being complacent with state code violation.
