Steak 'Em-Up — Restaurant in North Wildwood

I want to be as fair as possible here.. I have read A LOT of reviews on this place so I went there to check it out..here we go, there was nothing special about the pizza. People brag about how good their pizza is but I just didn't have that experience. Is it better then Ellios? Yes. Can it dance with Sam's or Macks? Not really.. it's just a generic boardwalk slice..in fairness it's a Cheese steak place not a pizza place..so I'll move on to that.. I ordered a Cheesesteak with ketchup, extra cheese and light meat because I didn't want it falling all over the place and I'm not a fan of over stuffed Cheesesteaks..you can see what I got..full meat, hardly any cheese and it was all in the bottom crack of the roll not on the meat.🤷🏻‍♂️ I felt like the meat was totally unseasoned..it was just hot meat. What I did like is it was quality meat..zero gristle. I think it was good a product just not executed very well..compared to it's competitors in Wildwood it's not bad, it's a solid 6 in the very competitive CheeseSteak world these days..I also got their "Florida style inside out".. I really respect that they don't try to call it a panzorotti because it's definitely different. I thought that was pretty good..I picture kids really liking them..I would definitely go back for that, most places in Wildwood/Cape May arnt doing anything like that and I hope that takes...

I decided to try Steak 'Em-up based on a friend's recommendation, and I was not disappointed. This small spot delivers delicious food with a bar-like ambiance, especially when you sit on the round chairs. The service was absolutely amazing. The young lady that served us was very friendly.

I ordered a cheesesteak with fried onions, which was a decent size and earned a solid 4/5. The wings were super delicious, bursting with flavor, and served with blue cheese and hot sauce on the side—a definite 5/5. The mozzarella sticks were delightful, featuring perfectly stringy cheese, also a 5/5. Curly fries drenched in cheese were a fantastic choice, another 5/5. The onion rings were crunchy and delicious, definitely deserving a 5/5 as well.

I went I. On a Monday night as it was jus around closing I guess I asked are u guys open yes the man said to the conter the woman said can I help as I said hey I see your about to close is anything on the menu closed and I am given the go ahead for full menu so I get simple chs stk chs fries I know they closing so I'm already looking. To eat on a bench out on boardwalk I walk in the door they at the door practically pushing me out like I had to be like uh napkins he threw at my girlfriend then I did realize I forgot ketchup my girlfriend walked up to door n knocked to ask for ketchup packet as man was sweeping he shooed her away so the customer service ducked n I can't say if the food was good cos the chs stk kinda dry n I like ketchup n that probably would have fixed that...
