Pallante's deli has the best Italian Sandwiches in the suburbs. Hot and Cold are all authentic with top shelf ingredients. Fresh sliced steak meat, fresh homemade cutlets, and the in-store roast beef/roast pork are on point, they come with a side of pan juice for dipping. Try the Pallantes Chicken Cutlet with proscuitto on a seeded Sarcone's roll, extra sharp prov, long fried hots, broccoli rabe. Yeah get 2, like i do. If they are not actual Sarcone's rolls they fooled me. Their tomato and white square pies are just like grandma used to make. Savor the crust, you'll know love went into that dough. I have an aversion to eggplant, but can't stop eating the white veggie pie. The eggplant is sliced so thin you can't identify it on your tongue, but it completes the flavor profile. Pallante's goes the distance to bring in the best imported meats and cheeses, and sources the best of the best seeded Italian hoagie rolls. Thanks guys, the effort you have shown makes it worth every penny of my hard earned dollars. Ken's 1 star review is totally misguided, Pallante's is the best thing outside of...
Read moreThis is actually a 4.5 star. However, the hoagies, Louie, Godfather and Veggie very good quality, as well as the Chicken Cutlet and Eggplant! The seeded roll, Exceptional and fresh. The bread has alot to do in making a sandwich. The portion of food in the hoagie, let's just say, not only you are tasting the roll, but, the meats and veggie too! Not stingy! Tasting the inside and not just the bread. Pizza is good also. I only had the veggie pie. Need to try the tomato pie! I highly recommend if you are looking for good quality hoagie, etc. This place is a must, at least once. Hopefully, the business will not change in what they are delivering to the people....
Read moreTremendous Hoagie. Not sure if it's even worth going into Philly anymore to get a good Italian. Definitely in the top 3 of Italians I have sampled. Up there with the best in Philly. Basically, I brought a bagful of Godfathers home, and nobody was talking until the hoagies were but a memory. I would deduce that the silence around the table was caused by the magic of their hoagies. Most highly recommended. Pay no attention to the Michael Kaminsky review, he is absolutely clueless. Probably barks at...
