Richboro Pub — Restaurant in Northampton Township

To begin I look for flaws in establishments, it’s just in my DNA. I have heard a lot of hype surrounding the Richboro pub but wasn’t buying in. I finally found myself in the general area with my 5 year old twins on a Friday night and figured, why not give it a try.

We were immediately greeted by the bartender that told us that we could sit anywhere. Plus.

The booth was gigantic and spacious. Plus.

The WiFi was excellent for my kids to play on their tablets. Plus.

Our waitress Jackie was amazing, attentive and ran around the pub with a smile on her face. HUGE plus.

She recommended an iced tea vodka drink that was amazing. Another plus.

We ordered the bone in wings. No breading and 25 for $35 dollars. BIG plus.

All of the TVs were visible and BRIGHT. (Plus)

The bathrooms were large, clean and had paper towels for drying hands. P L U S

I actually sat in the car thinking, was there a single thing wrong with this place on this visit?

The answer is no.

Jackie was AMAZING, the lighting BRIGHT, the TVs plentiful and ALL ON, the prices REASONABLE , the size of the booth HUGE, the WiFi WORKING, the bathroom BIG AND CLEAN, the parking lot BIG….. the taste and portion of the food GREAT AND LARGE.

I actually hate being this impressed but I certainly am.

The wings were good. Sauce was great. Service was ok. Soup was very good for a bar. The atmosphere was good. We went for a trivia night. There was no trivia. The bar was empty. We get in the establishment, and it's freezing. We say something to our server and she was very curt and said we can't touch it. She came with our drinks and to take our food order. My husband said I would like to order a blanket and very hastily she says , we shut it off. Which byw , they did not. And considering she had just told us that they couldn't touch it. I know the servers name, but will not put her on blast on here. She needs to be a bit nicer. We were not mean or nasty when we said we were freezing. The bus boy was awesome and kept up with our dirty dishes. I really wanted to ask for a manager, but ended up not saying anything more. We travel from the Bristol area, and we will not...

When I first sat down to dinner we had to pull on the chairs as they were stuck to the ground. The place was empty as expected at that time and looked like it was preparing for dinner rush.

The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. The cheese wiz was a treat to dip my fries in but it was lumpy and dark orange, like it had been sitting there for a long time. My kids did not enjoy their meal. They are not picky eaters, especially when it comes to a burger or mac and cheese. This is basic menu food and it wasn't good.

Before I left, I went to use the bathroom, and a staff member exited before I went in. As soon as I walked in I smelled a pleasant weed aroma and that just really made for a nice ending to a less than...
