First impression pretty restaurant outdoor seating we selected ordered drinks salad went fine noticing servers bringing food to wrong people made us a bit nervous
Our food after a long wait long with other tables waiting long our food came out and it www wrong came out as Piccata we ordered franchise instead of making it right we are tile Franchise is made with them which I know was a pure lie to be fair we asked for another side of pasta and we picked Capars off of our chicken pasta comes out one garlic and oil the second franchise we ate the thinner chicken first get to the thicker piece and we fine both of our chicken to be raw inside waitress becomes annoyed and says I am going to get the manager so you can talk to him she then said he was at another table and he never showed up at all to then having the chef/cook coming to our table with our food to rudely tell us the red raw piece of chicken was fully cooked which is very scary we finally eat get our check she apologized for the issues we had I said I am shocked the manager still never came to our table she said very rudely he is the manager and I said well who ever he is I’m not impressed and she walked away very rudely and between Savannah’s attitude and not handling conflict well and the manager not caring about our experience to come over to talk to us they purely don’t care about the service food quality or making things right for there customers I would never come here again they ruined a birthday celebration we left sick from the raw chicken with a old lemon taste from the chicken they was very watery with lack of flavor the caprice was the one thing they did right and the outside setup there are so many other restaurants with owners and managers that care about what they bring to the tables and care when an issue comes up to make it better...
Read moreNot a good first impression for sure. We were a party of 6 that dined here last night which was New Year’s Eve. We were anxious to try this place since It was recommended to us. We had 7 pm reservations but had to wait outside in the rain for a half hour since there was no place to wait inside. They finally escorted us to our table and a fixed menu was available since it was NYE. First course was an appetizer which most of picked but we were told that hey ran out of that particular choice which was meatballs. We found it hard to believe that an Italian restaurant would run out of meatballs. We chose something else that really didn’t appeal to us but we went with it. After our appetizer we were ready for our second course which was a salad. We waited an hour and a half for our salads and we were told 3 times in that time frame that the salad was coming. At one point most of the servers were standing around waiting to serve food to the many patrons that were dining there . We looked around and noticed that many tables were waiting for their food as well. Obviously there was a problem in the kitchen for sure but, of course nobody offered even an excuse. We were contemplating an exit at this point but finally the salads were served and shortly after our dinner was served but some of the dinners were ice cold. I realized it was a holiday but this place did not have the proper amount of kitchen staff to handle a crowd that kept coming in after 9 pm. We tipped the server very well since it was not his fault. He tried his best but we will not be returning especially after spending $450 at $60 a head plus...
Read moreOur family had a surprise 60th birthday dinner for my husband, 17 people total. The restaurant was totally prepared for us. The rest of our family arrived at the reservation time; I came about 20 minutes later with my husband, where we were met outside at the door by our server and several other staff. Tony, our server, kept the surprise going for my husband until we walked in the back room with the rest of our family shouting, "Surprise". Tony asked what our names were and he addressed us by name all evening. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was hot and fresh, Tony was an excellent server, and as a surprise he brought my husband a piece of cheesecake with Happy Birthday written across the plate in a sweet sauce. When we sang Happy Birthday, the entire room of diners sang along and clapped with us, even Tony and his helpers. We had Italian food, seafood, steak, chicken, different appetizers, and amazingly delicious desserts. The Creme Brulee was especially incredible! We had 2 toddlers with us and one had a bit of a meltdown at times as little ones will do, and it mattered not at all. It was a great dining experience, and the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure it was a memorable one. This was our first time at La Cucina, and we will definitely be making it our favorite place. Make sure you ask for Tony to serve you when you go! We have a family of cooks and servers, and I can honestly say from the experience we each have in that area, the food nor service could not have been any better. Thank you Tony and La Cucina! We'll see...
