TACO LOVERS — Restaurant in Northfield

Taco Lovers has become one of our absolute favorite spots. My wife and I have been there a few times now, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. We’ve had the chilaquiles, tacos, and several of their platos—and everything has come out fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The seasoning is always on point, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in their food.

The customer service is also a standout. There’s a woman who is always there—I’m not sure if she’s the owner—but she is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. She makes you feel like you’re part of the family from the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find that level of warmth and hospitality these days.

The atmosphere is clean, calm, and comfortable. Whether you’re grabbing takeout or eating there, it’s just a really pleasant place to be. It’s clear they care about every detail—from the food to the service to the overall vibe.

Overpriced, tacos should come with rice and beans for the price.. rice and beans are cheap, why not offer it? Front of the kitchen needs a service counter, it’s always awkward walking towards the kitchen.. not everyone wants to dine in. The pink paint and theme is overwhelming for my taste. Guacamole is delicious. Tacos are decent, needs more meat for the price, salsa has zero spice and flavor but that’s expected for the area. Service is great, nice people. We loved our lunch at Taco Lovers! We started the meal with delicious guacamole made fresh at the table. The guac came with warm, homemade tortilla chips, and 2 different, delicious salsas. I ordered the shrimp chimichanga and it was so delicious! My meal came with a generous side of black beans and Mexican rice.
