I went to this place because a saw a flyer in the airport that mentioned that they were featured on the travel Channel. Later, while searching for food near my hotel, I saw that there was a Fat Shack conveniently near by. This was was a hole in the wall. It is literally squeezed between a barbershop and a liberty tax center, or whatever they are called. A lot of times when you hear "hole in the wall", you tend to think it might be really good, authentic food. Fat Shack is a "hole in the wall" because it is crusty and dirty on the inside. There was not much room to sit and eat there, and the was covered with food from previous patrons. The food was just as disappointing. Again, I came here because it was on the travel Channel. I even ordered some that had "as seen on the travel Channel" written next to it. It was sloppy, the flavors in it did not mesh well, and to honestly, I think the food took years off my life. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE ON A DIET! I ordered hot wings in case I did not like the Fat Moo sandwich. Oh yeah, all the sandwiches start with "Fat". Anyway my sandwich consisted of Mac and cheese, French fries, and fried mozzarella sticks. Not a fan. I also ordered fried oreos and a fried twinkie. The was sooooooo much powdered sugar on both that it made it impossible to take more than single bite. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Never knew this place existed until I looked up 24 hr food near me. This place isn’t open 24hrs, but it did show them being open till 1am. While waiting on a load to go back to work, we decided to give these guys a try. When we got there the place was pretty busy just before 1am. We ordered a sandwich that had Mac and cheese, fries and mozzarella sticks (we also added chicken) on it. Then the Mac and cheese bites, the deep fried Oreos and the deep fried cheese cake. I also ordered myself a PB cup, chocolate malt shake. Everything tasted great! The little guy that gave me the food seemed wicked happy that I gave them a $5 tip. After getting back to the truck and my co driver and myself digging in, I told her that this place must have been created by some stoners evacuate that sandwich was something that I could see myself making back in my munchie attack days 🤣😂 I would definitely order from this place while in the area again and I would recommend them to my coworkers.

No complaints besides a food coma, and that’s my fault for over eating! I wish I took pictures of the food, but it was eaten as soon as we got home. We got deep fried oreos, cookies, and twinkies, and a couple of their signature sandwiches. Also not to mention their customer service was great, and the chef/ attendant answered our questions beautifully, and made great suggestions. He genuinely sold their burgers on to us which is definitely a next time try, but we were set on wanting to try their sandwiches because that’s what they’re mainly known for, but the way he described those burgers, and the quality put into them definitely made me want to order 2 meals, but I was practical. I could barely finish my sandwich.

We came here for the first time after seeing this restaurant advertised on shark tank. It was incredibly hard to find as our gps kept saying we had arrived yet had to drive around several times just to find the place. It’s tiny and is next to a tattoo parlor. Anyway waiting area inside isn’t bad but it’s incredibly tiny. There is no restroom available for anyone dining in but then again the lobby can maybe sit 10 people total? We walked up to the menu and noticed there is a screen. You place you order at the screen. Some items are not customizable after reading through. I ordered a 6” gorbies and a small drink. My wife ordered a single burger and a large drink and a small fry. Total for all that was 29$ they don’t give you your cup while you wait if it’s a to go order so you can’t even enjoy your drink until it’s time to go. I placed a separate order for 3 cheesecake balls. They are deep fried. Those were the only enjoyable part of the meal. The powdered sugar on it was great. Our main courses were not. My wife’s burger was burnt around the edges and pink in the middle. Also covered with too much mustard. She ate half of it and tossed it. Fries tasted like store bought frozen fries. Sandwich was extremely bland and had absolutely zero taste. It had chicken fingers fries lettuce and one other thing maybe tomato’s. Either way it was extremely overpriced and lacked flavor. We also placed the order at 7:51 and didn’t get it until 8:25. They were not busy. 2 guys came in during that time with pick up orders that were getting bagged up. One person was sweeping the floor as burger Pattie’s sat on the grill. Presumably...

On 9/7/17 I went to try your restaurant and my experience was less than favorable. I found it unusual that you only have one size on your fountain drinks. There was a note on your ice tea machine that said do not use. The table that I sat at was extremely dusty when others were not. I was at the Thornton location about quarter to four. I ordered the single hamburger lunch special plus your appetizer sampler and for desert deep fried cheesecake bites. My order arrived rather fast and I asked the female worker was every thing made fresh and she said yes. I decided to check and I was filled with disappointment. The cheeseburger I new was fresh because I saw it get started on the grill (I was not pleased that you already have a thin patty and a press was put on the meat robbing it of its natural juices.) On the sampler the only thing that was freshly made was the macaroni cheese bites due to the fact that it was to hot to eat. I went up to the counter and complained about the food temperature the woman asked if wanted everything remade and I said yes. When I got home to eat my food the disappointment continued. All the food was oily which mentioned the there was a problem with the oil or in the way it was cooked.

With all that being said I do not feel I will be back to Fatschack again let alone recommended to one...
