Was new to the salon/Hannah as recommended by a friend, not sure who did friend nails she could not remember . Drove further than I normally would. When I called to schedule an appointment they told me to schedule online. So I did not a have problem but when I was in for my service there were several people calling and they were scheduling appointments for them , perhaps they only do this for existing customers? the nail tech I had seemed to be the owner or one in charge and she was spending more time answering the phone tending to her husband and son who came in and talking with her coworkers. She was very distracted and not paying attention to what she was doing with my nails and did not seem to really care. I wanted coffin shaped ombré she did very thick and wide square, not coffin shape at all. she kept pulling on my fingers telling me to relax. I have had my nails done for years and never had a tech hound me so bad the entire time, she seemed annoy with me. I have arthritis in my joints and I told her that’s why some of my fingers are stiff she did not acknowledge this just kept pulling telling me to relax. She was very rude she was looking away half the time even when she was filing again because her husband came in with her son and she was more focused on him asking him if he wanted a pedicure if she had time she barely filed my nails. She was having a conversation with him about various things and my nails were in no way her priority. I had to go home and re-file all of them because they were so thick and wrong shape. She charged me 70 $ Way too much money I have gotten this service at other nicer salons for cheaper and much better quality and more professional. Wanted to try a new salon as my gal left the one I used to go to. The acrylic burned at first, likely not great product and did not seem clean.Their prices are not posted anywhere in the salon or on the website that is shifty to me.I will never go back to this salon I would not recommend it to anybody. I gave Hannah one star because In also work in the beauty industry and I at least liked the color of the pink she used but I had to push for this also. clearly she has some skill but she’s just rude and sped me through. Don’t book clients if you are too busy. Do not seem to care about new customers. Some customers had nice looking nails and their techs seemed friendly so likely got the wrong person but still will not return or recommend this salon.the salon seemed busy but quite chaotic and loud so if you want relaxing this is...
Read moreI am a true believer in supporting local businesses. I would like to share my personal experience. Hopefully, the owner can take this feedback and make improvements. People remember how you made them feel.
The business must understand that people are going to the business for a reason. For the nails, a salon is a relaxation, NOT an interrogation.
I'm not too fond of it when aestheticians are too chatty to the point that I can't relax. Being too intrusive is huge 🚩 I am sure she is a nice aesthetican, but if I clearly don't feel comfortable sharing about my family or me. Why did you choose to continue to ask? Why do you want to know who I am married to or where my husband is from? It's too NOSY! Just think about it, what if I was going through a divorced and didn’t want to share it with you? or what if that was too sensitive a subject? Just be mindful of what you are asking for and read the vibe.
The acceptable question should be: “ how was your day going? what do you have a weekend plan? What is for dinner? Etc...”
Not “ Where are you from? Where are your husbands from? Are you born here? Where do you live? What are you doing for a living? Is it good money? is your hair natural ”
Mind you, this isn’t just a regular chitchat session. She was having a full investigation above me. I felt so uncomfortable, and I try to ask the same question back to her so she can see how uncomfortable is.... (she had zero clue what was going on.) I was closing my eyes, so she stopped talking to me... I indicated so many times I didn’t want to answer those questions so when I gave her the “LOOK,” she said I was just “curious”.
I’m giving the rating of two because of how she made me feel. Not how she did my nails. She did a decent job with my nails. Not so great, though thick and Uneven. Just for the nails, I will give a rating of 3. The shop was...
Read moreI am not normally Someone that post reviews, but decided to add my two cents. I tried this salon with a friend based on the reviews and we both felt the quality was good but we were not in love with the cost. There are a lot of up charges. I decided to give it a second try and scheduled an appointment. I’ll take a good quality place over cost. They called me about 1.5 hours early requesting I come in now. I was able to make it about 30-45 mins early. Apparently they wanted to close early and it showed in their work. The upgraded pedicure is not worth it. Their massage is just rubbing lotion which l find disappointing. It was very basic and lacking. I also got a rebase and it was so rushed and steps were missed. My nails have weird edges and are thick! They are not even. The length on one hand is good but the other is different and longer. There is also like a bubble at the bottom making my nails look almost pregnant. I asked for one kind of glitter on 3 nails but got 2 types of glitter on 4 nails and was charged for the extra glitter and nail. If they wanted to close early they should have just cancelled. Also, if you like black nail polish they roll their eyes and say it’s too early for Halloween. Some people just like black nail polish and think it looks nice. I don’t think I’ll be going back as it’s not a consistent place or experience and I’m not a fan of all the up charges and don’t want to have comments made because l like a...
