A unique pin was recommended to us by my daughter's school for getting her... her Letterman's jacket. Not just because their prices are some of the best, but because they do an amazing job. They take pride in their work and they want to do it the best they can for you and do it right, no mistakes. They're very thorough with their application asking exactly what you want what school you go to, what patch is, where the patches are to go on the jacket because you can choose. They have different styles of jackets you can choose from and I must say they're beautiful quality. Their customer service was extremely helpful and very kind and patient. We found the jacket and the patches and designated where everything was supposed to go and paid for the jacket and they contacted us within the time that they had said they would and told us the jacket was ready and it's just come and pick it up. I have to say it is a beautiful, beautiful jacket! They really do amazing work! At least when we went there and we're picking out an ordering a jacket, when putting in the order they needed half of the cost paid for upfront. And then you pay the rest when you go to pick up the jacket, but to make things easier and so we wouldn't have to remember we just paid everything all together. I just wanted you to know that upfront. I would call and or go in and contact them and ask them all of your questions yourself that way you get the complete and correct answers. The only other thing is each and every patch costs something different. I believe you get one patch right away for free with the jacket anything else you want obviously there's the extra cost. But it's more than worth it because out of all the letterman jackets I've seen, and that my sisters and I have had... My daughter is truly the best and most beautiful I've seen! She loves it so much she wears it all the time, and my daughter does not wear jackets. You have to fight her to get her to put on a jacket! But finally, thank you you need to pin... My daughter will actually wear a jacket when she should be wearing one, even when she doesn't need to be wearing when she wears her with Letterman's jacket from you. Thank you for doing such amazing work. The only negative thing I have to say is it's in a strange location a little hard to find, so make sure you look up directions that's what we did. We looked up in maps and got the directions and had no problem finding it once we did that. Otherwise we would have had no clue as to how to get there. Other than that they are one of the best stores we've been too. They do offer other things, other than Letterman's jackets... So don't be mistaken and thinking that's all that they do. They do so much more so I recommend looking up their website, or contacting them to find out what all you can have done. Definitely go to a unique pin if you are getting a...
Read moreThe craftsmanship of the letterman jacket we bought was excellent. Customer service was unbalanced.
The customer service from the older lady was less than desirable when finishing the details of selecting patches. She was rude and unhelpful, not pointing out what the options were on the example wall. For example, she would ask what style of lettering we wanted for the name without pointing it out, leaving us trying to decipher what was what. The wall has ALOT of options for patches, mascots, lettering, etc. Then she acted annoyed that we didn't know exactly what the options were and that it was taking time to figure it out.
The older gentleman was great at helping my son try on the different jacket sizes and explaining the purpose of adding length at the arms or torso. He is very knowledgeable and has clearly been doing this for a long time. He seemed to enjoy being part of the experince with us, happily answering our questions.
Unfortunately, I think we will be trying a different store for my daughters jacket. Pricing at other shops is comparable and I hope it's a better experience.
My advice to the owners is that families are dropping $400+ on a jacket with basic selections. The cost increases significantly the more the jacket is customized. It's a exciting and memorable thing for a student to pick a jacket out and customize it. Please try to contribute to the positive experience rather than treat families like they are an...
Read moreif you want to drop $400 and be treated horribly go here.. as a student i raised my own money to buy my letterman since i do so many sports. Since i was initially fitted by a man there who was very helpful, the older lady running the store completely ruined my once in a lifetime splurge. She rushed me and my mom trying to pick the designs and i felt really guilty and not satisfied on the way home. We went back to pick it up, months later, she snapped at us asking if she took checks. we had to run all the way home to get a card which my mom told her we would do, but that was before she said “i don’t care” as we stepped out. she had treated me and my mom as if we were dumb and really hurt my feelings. when we got back to pay, my mom suggested that they should let customers know beforehand since we drove an hour round trip twice to get that card: her daughter yelled at us! then the older lady came forward and she began to yell at the older lady to not engage. It was very embarrassing and i never tried to be rude, but i felt so disrespected and helpless being 16 and having 2 older people yelling at me. I did get my jacket and it is good quality but shoveling snow for months to raise money for a company that talks to kids that way...
