Branded Bagels — Restaurant in Northlake

My husband and I came in this morning for the first time excited to try! He got the banana bliss, and I got the pesto mozzarella bagel with pesto cream cheese. I’m happy to report both were DELICIOUS! The banana bliss was messy (to be expected because there was lots of melted marshmallow), but worth it. The pesto bagel was no joke, the best bagel I’ve had in my entire life. For context, I’m a flight attendant and I’ve had PLENTY of bagels from all over to bring me to that conclusion. Perfectly soft and chewy texture (not sourdough I believe but you can’t always achieve a fluffy texture with sourdough bagels), not too much pesto or cream cheese (I got light CC), flavor was fantastic!

To top it off, customer service was off the charts. The two young girls were so excited to make the banana bliss for the first time, and came out twice to check on us to see if we enjoyed it! Then, someone took my bagel so I was waiting a good bit for it to come out. I decided to ask how long the wait would be for mine, the owner informed me she made the bagel already but not sure how I didn’t get it and was happy to make another. They did, AND gave me 3 additional bonus bagels for the inconvenience (which really wasn’t even an inconvenience. I would have waited 4 hours for that bagel).

The bagels are fantastic ! Veggie cream cheese very inconsistent. The chunks of veggies today were huge . Carrots were long and shredded . ( has not been like that in the past ) The customer service started strong when you first opened and now it’s really lacking and inconsistent. The wait times are very long for a very simple product.There was plenty of employees standing around chatting but lacking direction and sense of urgency. I’ve been there 6 times and it’s getting worse with instead of better. This is usually the first sign of a business that won’t stay around long. I feel like you need an owner/management presence in the building all the time. This makes me sad because I love the bagel itself. I hope you get it together soon we need you in the area. Update : I have been back there three more times and things have become better. The service was outstanding at the register and my order has been accurate all three times. Okay y’all, if you haven’t been to Branded Bagel in Northlake yet—what are you even doing?! This place is a total game-changer. I’ve always been a big bagel fan and usually stuck to the usual chain spots, but not anymore. Branded Bagel is where it’s at.

Let’s talk about that cinnamon sugar bagel… hands down the BEST I’ve ever had. Then I had the egg, bacon, and cheese on a rosemary salt bagel and OMG—it was incredible. And don’t even get me started on the schmears… they’re next-level delicious.

I even got to meet the owners and the bagel maker this morning, and hearing a bit of their backstory made me love this place even more. You can feel the heart and hustle they’ve put into it. I’m all about supporting small businesses, and this one’s a gem.
