Will not be going back to this captain D's restaurant..Went thru drive-thru window and 1st the manager on night shift had to do a return on our order due to the employee had did our order wrong which we was nice about it..ordered again ,so we waited longer and more patiently and Paid by same debit card and got our receipts...We had drove way and I did realize I left something very important( won't discuss it)..tried calling store 20 different times within 20 mins from 2 different numbers...Bc we was on our way home with our food and don't live in npt..I then turned around went back..nobody was behind me at the time, I car was in front of me..So I went back thru drive thru...I told employee what they didn't give me back after they had it in their hands 2 different times from messing up our order...So that employee got very rude, got her manager back at the window, I was nice until she said something very rude and she said she was calling the police on me for holding up the line, only bc I was trying to ask her to pls look for what I left at the store that she had.. ..she walked away and had the male cook come to window then to tell me to leave or police was coming...Okay great...I'll wait on the police....I did talk to police,and I left the store & I also still left something very important there by an accident or she wouldn't give back to us....bc yes I was upset bc you don't treat someone so bad,and call the police on someone else when it was actually there fault.......But Im also trying to contact the coperate office ...But I will never eat back at this restaurant ( and would not recommend anyone either to order from there during night hrs after 5pm) and you actually don't get your money's worth after you look in your box of food for the price you pay for...
Read moreMe and my son stopped by for lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was not busy. No one was at the register. A young lady finally walked over and you could tell she was VERY angry. Another person, I am assuming a manager, told her "you don't have to". I am not sure what she was talking about but from the way she stood there and said "here or to go" it was apparent that it was taking our order. There was another customer standing at the end of the counter and he was also looking angry. I heard him ask the employees how much longer he would have to wait? I had recently had some oral surgery so all I wanted was the loaded baked potato. After waiting over 30 mins for our food it was obvious that my potato had been sitting somewhere quite awhile. I don't know how you can totally ruin a baked potato but the Northport Captain D's could teach you! The toppings came off in one cold piece. The baked potato was so cold it would not melt butter. The restaurant was very hot and the food was very cold. The tables were sticky, the floor was sticky, and the drink machine was covered in melting ice and spilled drinks. This was right after most church services should have been getting out. We now understand why at lunch time on a Sunday this Captain D's was not busy! My son was able to eat his but I threw mine away. After seeing the problems going on behind the counter I did not want to go and ask them to give me another potato. I did not feel well enough to put up with anymore...
Read moreI placed an online order. Catfish dinner with slaw and corn, shrimp skewer. It stated that my order would be ready in 10 minutes, at 12 p.m. I head to the restaurant and I get there at 12. I decided to go in because the drive thru was backed up. I told the cashier that I had an online order. She checked and said that it would be ready in 5 minutes. Five minutes pass… 12:10… patiently waiting…12:25 rolls around. I’m like, did they have to go catch my catfish from the catfish pond. I see that others who placed orders after I got there are getting their food. So I politely asked the cashier if I could just get a refund and I would just go somewhere else. She said that it would take 15 minutes to get a refund. I stood by the register for a few minutes, still waiting. The cashier told me that in order to get a refund, I would have to get back in line. I looked down the line, it’s about 10 customers there. So I told her that I’m not getting back in line when I’ve already ordered and paid. Another lady walks by, so I asked her if I could just get a refund. She asked what did I order so I told her. She went to check for it. My food magically appears and she said that my order was just completed. Now, I’ve worked multiple fast food jobs so I’m understanding especially when it’s busy. But this is unacceptable.
