EXCEEDINGLY RUDE PHARMACY TECH & PHARMACIST backed them up. Couldn’t find my debit card after picking up an rx. Called them & headed back. I was in the pick up line waiting to get my rx behind another car. No one was behind me. I was told by a female that I could NOT WAIT THERE. I had to go park my car in the lot. I said I had been always allowed to wait at the window if no one was behind me. She gave me “a look that could kill” and walked off to go get her pharmacist. Tall, big white man w beard. He said you can’t wait here at the window. I told him the same as I told her. Was told NO, you won’t wait here at the window even with no one behind you. I’m new here in the last month in this town & I told him I’d not be back to that store ever again. I won’t even buy toilet paper there. Told pharmacist this was nothing more than a power struggle. I’m sick & not feeling well & that was the most asinine thing I’ve ever dealt with. Bye Walgreens. Read all these 58+ reviews over a period of 4+ years. Majority of them are ONE STAR. Most of them noting rudeness. Apparently Walgreens corporate doesn’t care about how this little operation is perceived by the public. Not only that, but word of mouth can hurt or help your business & while one person might not impact your bottom line that much, I’d bet these other disgruntled folks don’t go back & have told others their experience like I have. Start paying attention to your customers Walgreens! We have...
Read moreIf I could zero stars for this pharmacy, I would. Yesterday I called and called from 11am-4pm nobody would answer the phone. Someone finally answered, only for me to be put on hold for 10 mins to be hung up on. I decided to drive out of my way to have a personal conversation. First I stood there and the workers acted as if they didn't see me. I told another customer to go ahead of me, but they saw and greeted him with no problem. The pharmacy tec told me that my doctor denied my refill because my insurance did not cover it at the pharmacy. I have two different insurances, and they only decided to run my backup insurance that I never use for that prescription. And proceeded to refer me to CVS or another pharmacy. I have never in my life heard of a doctors office refusing to prescribe or refill a prescription because of insurance. I'd pay out of pocket if I have to. Is my medication. I had to drive to my doctor's office this morning to be told that the pharmacy was giving me a hard time. That I already knew. This walgreens isn't the best walgreens. Reminds of the one that used to be on 15th Street. Walgreens isn't a bad company, but unfortunately, unconcerned workers will make any company look bad. Please go to 4400 University blvd Tuscaloosa Walgreens they would never behave...
Read moreThe incompetency of this pharmacy is a literal threat to the lives of their customers. You can call for hours and never reach anyone and if you attempt to refill using the automated system it says your refill won't be ready for days. I finally reached them and they tell me my prescription is at the Walgreens on 69 south. I tell her, no Im holding the box my last inhaler was filled in and your locations address and phone number are on the box! She acted like she had no idea just how confirming that detail was. I requested all of my prescription be transferred to Publix and they sent them to CVS. HOW do you confuse that? I began calling Walgreens yesterday morning around 9 am. I called Publix and requested they try transferring it. They called Walgreens 5 times when they never received anything. So after Walgreens assured me yesterday that they had transferred ALL of my prescriptions, this morning I received a automated call regarding my Albuterol 4mg tablets being on hold or something pending something like that. Being asthmatic and facing the possibility of going without a rescue inhaler due to the incompetency of Walgreens was extremely traumatizing. I will NEVER put my trust or life in the hands of this Walgreens pharmacy or any other...
