Normally I don’t have issues out of this location. However, I’m not sure if I’ll be back after tonight. I work in a restaurant currently, and I’ve worked in the food industry so I get customers will try to pull things. But this? This was NOT okay. My friend went to get us a simple order. Three tacos, two hard beef no lettuce, one soft chicken no lettuce; and a chips and cheese. The only thing they got right were the chips and cheese. The chicken taco was COLD, and the beef tacos had lettuce. We went to get it fixed. The guy we spoke with could not understand what we wanted. My friend spoke to them since I was so upset. He calmly explained the beef tacos were supposed to be hard shell (he specified it FIVE times) with no lettuce, and that his chicken was cold. He could not understand that my friend wanted the chicken to not be cold. I had to step in, and he got extremely defensive when I snapped at him (my friend does not have a backbone, so he was being overly polite) and I said he just wanted a warm soft chicken taco and the guy cut me off and said he understood that. Some other guy asked us to pull up the window and gave us our food. This time? There was lettuce on the chicken taco and my beef tacos were soft. I tried going inside, but the doors were locked (despite the fact there were probably ten GUESTS inside the dining room). So, back in line. This time they told us they wouldn’t fix it again (after this last time) even though THEY’RE the ones messing up the order. We (I say we, I let my friend do the talking) spoke to the guy who cut off the rude one from earlier this time, and he made sure it was right. When we were pulling away I heard the rude guy lie and say that we told him soft. The rude guy also didn’t have on a hairnet or even pulled back (it was all in his face, and I saw him walking away from the food line), despite his long hair. So, that was gross. Every six months y’all get horrible, food gets back, employees become insufferable, and then y’all close for a few weeks. Then, things are great for another six months. I have a feeling this cycle will...
Read moreNowadays, it’s pretty commonplace to have rude, apathetic employees wait on you at fast food places. It is such a pleasant surprise when you go somewhere and don’t receive this type of service. Every time I go to this Taco Bell location, the employees there are always friendly and helpful. Tonight, one of their employees went out of her way to provide excellent service. I went there not knowing what I wanted to order so I pulled into a parking spot in front of the building and got on the app to look at the menu and place my order. I had been there for several minutes and was about to back out and pull into the drive through line as instructed in the app. A female employee (I hate I didn’t get her name!) came out to bring an order to another car. She saw me there and even though I didn’t try to get her attention, she asked me if I was waiting for something and if I needed any help. I explained to her that I had already ordered. I told her that in the past when I ordered in the app and went through the drive through, I was always told to come back to the area where I currently was parked and to park and wait there for my order. She was very kind and told me that she would make my order for me and that I didn’t have to do that. She got my name and pretty much immediately came back out with my order. She thanked me and wished me a goodnight. It was such a nice experience to have in getting my order. Also, my order was 100% correct (also something that doesn’t always happen at a lot of fast food places) and my food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thank you, Taco Bell, and thank you, especially to the excellent employee who...
Read moreI just saw a recent review where someone named the exact manger on shift that just threw a remake bag at my car. Even after horrible reviews and the worst service, this person is still there.
I love taco bell. I'm a frequenter. Two. Three times a week. Well they just lost a customer. One person really can spoil an experience.
I placed my order through the mobile app as usual because it's complex. And when I was handed the bag, the first thing I noticed was the burrito was unwrapped. Not really thinking twice, I pulled off. Then when I settled into the parking lot to eat my delicious burrito, I noticed that there were just beans everywhere. I decided to pull back through. Wait in line and ask for a refund.
This man is screaming, "we can't give refunds on Mobile orders." Then he comes to the window and I say, "but you serve customers this?" And showed him the burrito. He slammed the drive thru window. The cashier asked what I would like and I stated a refund or what the managers name was. Turns out it was Johnny. He then comes back with a bag and throws it out the window aggressively.
I ge the stress of work. Especially in a busy fast food place on a Saturday. But there's a way to manage and how you feel and the way you deal with customers. Certainly not what I would have expected.
This fellow is possibly in need of mental help and might be in turmoil. But I hope he doesn't think he's thenonly one on the planet who has a rough time in life or at work. Just should know that customers are the way a business makes money and they are...
