Brady's Fox Hunt Inn — Restaurant in Northvale

Visited here with family during the crazy lockdowns of 2020. They had nice outdoor seating with patio tables and umbrellas. We were able to walk to the tables and sit down without wearing any masks, which is a HUGE plus, very happy about that! 🙂 also able to sit and eat without masks, very nice!

The employees are very friendly. Service was great but our waitress was slow and did not return to our table very often. It seemed she only came back every 15 or 20 minutes.

Steak sandwich was yummy. French fries were yummy.

All our guests said they enjoyed their food too including hamburgers, salads and sandwiches.

Soda and iced tea selection is very limited.

We visited on a very hot day in July at 6pm. The umbrellas were nice but none of them provided shade from the 6pm sun. Not sure if there is any solution other than visiting earlier or after the...

The service there was horrendous. we were seated the waitress took our order for appetizers, appetizers came out with no utensils no napkins no dishes. we also ordered unsweetened iced teas in which we asked for sweetener. After about 20 minutes I asked the bus boy for it and was told I'd have to wait! Then we noticed the bus boy putting out baskets of bread on tables which we never got any! We were outside dining and 2 women were smoking too close to us diners, only to find out they worked there! And the best part was watching a waitress spray cleaner on the table next to us while the customers were sitting there. After our food was finally given to us we were never asked after that was everything okay or did we need anything else.I will say our dinner was good but needless to say I would never recommend that place to anyone nor will we...

This feels like a bar airlifted from another time and place, very old-timey and small-towny in a way I don't see anymore, but also encouraging and inviting for all kinds of people and made to feel like an old friend on a first visit. (Not to be judgmental, but sometimes when there are ONLY old men at a bar.... and you are not an old man yourself... it doesn't set itself up to be the most inviting experience right away.)

Food for portion/price and what you get is quite reasonable, service is fast, and the place really, really, really knows their customers, which gives it the family-like feel, where half of the customers don't even bother with a menu and the food just arrives before the customers can order it.
