This McDonald's is absolutely abysmal. If it wasn't for the McDonald's on 44 & Jefferson, it would be the worst McDonald's in the St. Louis area. My views on this McDonald's are not from one visit; I feel that would be unfair. My opinion is derived from many visits to this location. My goodness, where do I start? Wait times are insane. I have waited an average of 15 minutes every time I go to this location. On my last visit, I waited 26 minutes for two plain cheeseburgers and a small fry, and they weren't even busy. While I was waiting nearly half an hour for two cheeseburgers, the manager stood in the lobby on her phone, talking to whoever about her personal business. I know this because she was super loud. While she was in the lobby, one of her friends showed up and placed an order. Surprisingly or not, her friend got her order within 5 minutes. They also manipulate the wait times. When you place an order, it pops up on the screen and tells you when your order is done. Well, as soon as you place your order, they send it to "done," but you still will wait 15 to 25 minutes. I've worked at a fast food restaurant; they do this to make it seem like their wait times aren't super long. I've also seen several fights and altercations at this location. No one there seems to care about their job. No one kicked down their door and made them work at McDonald's; they chose that. So, I truly don't understand the lack of work ethic. I can keep going, but this is long enough. I will end with this: if it came down to going back to this McDonald's or starving, I would rather chew on my spit and starve. I wish zero Stars...
Read moreUpdate: 6/23/25 - My mother wanted McDonalds for her and a friend who got in late from Vacation. I dreaded the thought of coming back here but gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was the night crew. Ordered $30 worth of food and they forgot to put 2 burgers in the bag. Shut this thieving McDonalds down and get them out our neighborhood. They’re useless.
Terrible, incompetent service. The guy working drive thru for breakfast was confused on how the 2 lanes work and instead of taking one side order then the other side, he only takes orders from lane 2. Pulled up to the window and he said I had to go back around and I questioned why he is skipping people. He frustratedly said he was the only one taking drive thru orders. I said what does that have to do with you skipping over people who have been waiting patiently? He went and got the manager she comes to the window with an attitude and told me I had to go back around. I explained to her how her worker is skipping people in line and she tried to take up for him but gave up and asked me what I wanted because you can’t argue with common sense. I told her don’t worry about it and left. Put dude on hash brown duty because taking orders at the drive thru was too much for...
Read moreMy Husband purchased 2 for $5 big Mac, 1 Large French Fries,2 L Cherry Icee and 1 Happy Meal. He waited 10 minutes to receive order. We received 4 Cheeseburgers 2 L Icees and 2 Medium Fries. He already drove to my office when he realized they gave the wrong order. He contacted the establishment and spoke with Manager Alicia. She told him to come back. He explained he is not in that area and asked could he come back tomorrow. She did not sound apologetic at all about the situation and said would he bring the food back tomorrow. So which means for their mistake she expected him to either spend extra money on gas to drive back to tbe restaurant or save the food he bought to feed our son as well as us pay for something else.for him to eat so extra money out for their mistake. We hoped to at least hear an apology. As a business owner this is poor business practices. We not only received the wrong order but also paid extra for it. Pictures were taken of the receipt as well as order. To me this particular location not only has bad business practices but also bad Customer Service. I will also be contacting BBB and Corporate for...
