Health Hutt itself is a wonderful place to find more natural products. It's wonderful for those who need special vitamins that aren't available at a typical pharmacy. What is very not okay, is when staff acts like they know everything medically... convince you to buy a different product than what they are looking for or acting as if you know someone else's health, unless they were medically educated. What's worse is when you have bad reactions to them, have to go pay for the right ones, without them taking them back and would refund it in the next 30 days. I'm upset because I personally didn't have transportation to get there to return them ($80 worth) before that 30 day limit. I was told they're breaking down on that type of stuff from higher up in the management (it was funny because she's the one who picked the stuff out and acted like she knew medically what is right). I got the response if I would have called before the 30 days, even without transportation, that it would have made it work though. I suggested not to do that to future customers, especially can barely afford the medical requirements I am supposed to supply myself with... What was worse was when I came back from running to the car to borrow more of my grandma (since they refused and I couldn't afford it.) The manager was laughing about it. The 'manager' is extremely inconsiderate of others, she was even being rude to the customer she had on the phone, that "if you don't know what you need out of these, you should probably be coming in to look at it yourself. Also that if your lymphnodes are swollen, that usually means something is infected "
I personally thought rather highly of Health Hutt until my second experience with her. Unless she's actually has a legit education, I don't suggest listening to her...

Customer service: we go to the health hutt on Henry St, for the first time. We park the car and strike up the air conditioning for Bella (our dog) while we go inside. A staff member confronts us, "is that your car? Your dog is dying. It's a 90 degree day." "She's OK, we have the air running, that's why the windows are up." While we wait for our food, she proceeds to inform other staff members and some OTHER CUSTOMERS that we are killing our dog. They are all pointing at us, pointing at our car and the mean mugging was strong. Mind you, this errand stop was between buying her treats and taking her to dog beach. Again, we approached by another staff member, "are you sure you're dog is ok? Customers are complaining." Although we explained she was in air conditioning, she seemed unsatisfied. We paid, we left (while staff members continued to point at us) and will never return. I understand addressing animal abuse, but harassing customers because air conditioning is apparently insufficient for the dog is unacceptable. I'm a great dog mom. I take her on runs, I play with her every day. We feed her well and love her unconditionally. We'll...
Read moreI purchased a jar of sea moss 2/18/25. I didn't realize it was expired. It had 2 stickers on it. A white sticker dated 2/10/25 & an orange sticker dated 2/16/25. I assumed one date listed was date it was packaged. I asked for a refund and was told that store policy is they can sell expired products because they are good for 30 days beyond that expiration date. They do not accept refunds on clearance (expired) items. I told her I am not a regular customer because I live out of state. And the policy also is not written on the refrigerator where expired items are displayed. I feel this is horrible customer service and this definitely has deterred me from shopping here again. Update** Thank you so much for responding and offering a resolution. It makes a customer feel valued when...
