We don't often eat out as a family, it's expensive, kids don't have great table manners, and I enjoy to cook. However once and a while I can convince my wife to eat out. We stopped next door to the hair products store and as they shopped I looked at the reviews. The atmosphere was welcoming, which was so cool to see people from all different walks of life enjoying the food. It was diverse, it was clean, it was warm, the pictures looked good. Our waitress got down on our daughters level to ask her what she wanted, engaged her in the ordering process and it was so cool to see, and I don't think I'll forget that. Her mickey mouse pancakes lit her world up! I made the mistake of not asking our waitress what to order. I was torn between the tacos, the everything bowl, and the wrong choice which was what ever I ordered. I don't see the name now but it was a scramble egg, chorizo skillet with crema, and fried tortilla chips, and corn salsa...Please take this off the menu... Sounded way better than it was. The potatoes were over cooked, dry, just bad, it was very disappointing. Everything else we ate was spot on, the pancakes were good, the everything bowl was delicious, the service was excellent. I wish I wasn't the one to pick the sub par dish. I'll give it another shot for sure, really could've been a home run, and next time I'll ask. The chicken and waffles coming out of the kitchen looked awesome, the skillets looked great, the drinks looked amazing...

Our order today was incredible! We did a large take out order for a big group of people with a variety of items. Everything was VERY good. We had their breakfast sandwiches, American fries, hash browns, Gluten free toast, gluten free pancakes, and the peanut butter French toast which was MAGICAL. I would definitely rate this as one of Muskegon's top breakfast restaurants. The online ordering process was very easy to use and our order was correct. We will be back. Addition: Today we ate outside on their new patio and it was lovely. The meals we had were fantastic. I had the Cali Scram and my husband ordered the blueberry streusel pancakes (a special) and both were SO GOOD. It was the best brunch I've had in house hands down. Absolutely loved it. We went back for our anniversary today! Our server was great. He made some nice recommendations for how to add more some veggie substitutions to the breakfast burrito for my husband since weare vegetarians. I appreciated that. I ordered the breakfast tostada special without chorizo (because vegetarian) and honestly the only thing that would have made it better would have been some black beans. I really love texmex breakfast and for awhile I could only get it in Grand Haven at a different restaurant, but the Brunch House is starting to really fill that for me. It has become our go to breakfast place. Also their nitro cold brew coffee is amazing!

Returning to town as a former local from Las Vegas, I was pleasantly surprised by the distinctive presence of this establishment, both externally and internally. Formerly known as Famous Dave's, Brunch House has elevated the standard for local dining in the area. The food's quality, flavors, and even the decor make a significant impression. During my visit, I ordered the Western skillet with added jalapeños and left the pancake choice to the server, who surprised me with blueberry pancakes drizzled with some goodness. The skillet showcased a delightful interplay of flavors from all the ingredients. While the pancakes didn't particularly stand out, they made for a nice accompaniment. However, the standout feature was the exceptional service. Our waiter skillfully checked in, knowing precisely when to engage and when to allow for a more private dining experience. A delightful surprise came when she offered to provide to-go cups for our drinks, a gesture not commonly found and a subtle touch that truly sets this place apart in the world of dining. The only critique which has always been an issue with this building and not the establishment is the door’s to enter can be a bit elusive.

I've eaten here several times in the last few weeks. Once I came here the first time, I can't stop coming now. The service is great every time - I never see the same staff, but regardless, they all do a good job. They have seating indoors, outdoors, and an in-between "greenhouse" like dining room - (truly have no idea what to call that portion of the restaurant). The wait time is never consistent. Sometimes you go and there is practically no one there, and you get seated immediately. Other times you wait for half an hour, and it is so busy that there isn't a single parking spot open, and you end up having to park at a different business and hope you don't get towed away. They have a very large drink menu - some coffee items but MANY alcohol drink options. There is always a small "specials" menu as well. But just the regular food menu is big - probably too big, because every single thing on there sounds so good that it is hard to choose what to get. The food is sooooooooooooo good. Honestly, everything that I or my friends have gotten was so good and the portions are absolutely huge. I am not a sweet breakfast person, and I still was enticed enough to order french toast once. The latte's are great, I can definitely vouch for the french toast - the peanut butter stuffed one was fantastic, and also ANY of the eggs benedict are delicious. After coming here, I don't know if there is anywhere else in town I even want to go for breakfast/brunch....
