EDIT/UPDATE: We received a call from the store not long after this review posted up informing us that my husband could come pick a new chair to swap his for. Once we get it swapped I will update on how that process goes.
BUYER BEWARE:
Initially this was a great experience. Ours sales guy was awesome. Very friendly, eager to help and overall just a nice guy.
Fast forward to receiving the chairs after 2 months. Weāre actually not sure that one of the chairs is the one we wanted to order (our bad for not taking a picture of it on the sales floor) but then that same chair has problems with where the āfillingā underneath the arm has a dent in it, the back has a metal bar that you can feel in your back and so on. We called and they sent a service guy out and as most things go nowadays the parts to ātryā to fix it has to be ordered.
Fast forward again - almost 7 months- we have still not heard back from the store. Iāve called but each time Iām told the employees have already left for the day. š¤¦š¼āāļø but the store is still open. Frustrating. But also, why are they not calling me/us to get this resolved when the parts were ordered 7 months ago?
1/2 chairs is fine sits well etc however there are loose strings/thread all over the place, the swivel base I had to have removed and replaced with a stationary base (which we had to pay for even though we had already paid extra for the swivel base) because it was so wobbly you couldnāt lock it in place - ⦠the craftsmanship of La-Z-Boy (like most things anymore) is no more. So much money spent for lack of craftsmanship and lack of follow through by customer service.
The low rating is partly for La-z-Boy quality being sub par but still so pricey and also for Langlois not following through with the service we were told (from the get go - prior to purchasing)that they would provide.
We did purchase a table and chairs from them and again- it is already chipping on the top of the table š¤¦š¼āāļøall this table is used for is to eat on and we use placemats so that the heat of plates etc doesnāt damage it.
We also purchased a La-Z-Boy couch and I can say it is SUPER comfortable but also has its pros and cons. I also would like to say that again, the sales guy we worked with (Randy, I believe) was so kind in helping us and got us this couch in about 2 weeks and it ended up...

My husband had hip surgery May 20 he needed it during his recovery. The Sales Woman Laurie said she would order the seat replacement and it would arrive in 2 weeks. I called her after 2 weeks and she was short with me and said it was being made, and could take a month. I was told the recliner was new, However we I think I was lied to and it was a floor mode why else would it be worn and squeak when we use it as a rocker? When the replacement piece wasnāt in by week 3, I asked Langlois to order us a brand new recliner and take this chair back. It has a warranty. They ignored my requests. It took a month for the seat to come in. Iām waiting to find out if the delivery truck will bring it to our house. I paid $60 for delivery on the chair. So I donāt see why not. Waiting this long for the chair to be repaired to top condition would have affected my decision to buy it. Now we are stuck with a used squeaking $800 recliner. If the replacement seat doesnāt match in color when it comes I will have to pursue the matter of obtaining a refund through my credit card company. Disappointed with the...

Went into the store, bought a sleeper sofa off the floor which was a good experience, although I could tell it was overpriced even with the āsaleā. I wanted to see something in person though so was willing to support this local business. After that, things went downhill. It was delivered as scheduled, but COMPLETELY uncovered and exposed which meant that it got a huge stain on the main cushion from an exterior staircase and/or door, and another smaller stain on the back corner. They didnāt even bother to put moving wrap or anything over it when they took it off the floor for delivery. I was horrified as the stain was black and very large on a brand new and nice sofa. I had paid for the fabric protection, so we scheduled for them to come clean it.
