Pauli's Deli & Bagels — Restaurant in Norwalk

Giving one star because I left two messages for Pauli to ask why prices have increased many times the current inflation rate, but I got no callback from him. (What prompted me to call to complain was on a recent visit I paid more than $16 -- before the tip -- for a chicken salad wrap, chips and drink. Outrageous.) Both times, when I was leaving a message with the counterperson, I could hear Pauli in the background asking her what the call was about and telling her he'll call me back. Never did, though.

I used to be a long-time, loyal customer, but because Pauli has jacked up prices way out of scale, and because he apparently doesn't care enough about my business to talk to me, I will never go back...

Not only was the service terrible, the owner was beyond a jerk to all his employees!! The restaurant smelled like sewage and I am certain there are cockroaches in the kitchen.. furthermore he was a jerk to a fed ex driver who parked in front of the restaurant when no one was in there but me and there were numerous parking spaces, the guy was only trying to do his job. I won't eat here again. The ambiance was unbelievably negative. The food wasn't even good, it was halfway terrible. I urge everyone not to support this monster, there are much better small businesses that deserve your business. If you want to go to a deli go...

Friendly service at counter and register. We both enjoyed Ham and Cheese 3 egg Omelettes. Good home fries and toast, and then some bakery treats. 12/21 Pastrami & Cheese omelet platter with a toasted & buttered onion bagel- Delicious!

Veggie omelette, home fries, and a buttered toasted Onion Bagel. Delicious!! Another great Veggie omelette with a grilled onion bagel. 9/24. Had a Chicken Salad sandwich. Was good. Lots of salad- but not one piece/ chunk of chicken - they blend it into a very creamy consistency. Nice side...
