First and LAST visit to SoNo Harbor Deli & Cafe - we were looking for a new breakfast spot in the area to frequent since we are relatively new to the area. From the moment we sat down it felt rushed and unwelcoming. Our waitress was definitely irritated and over being there which was very obvious from the moment she addressed us. Very cold/short right off the bat - you almost felt like a burden for ordering coffee. For food we ordered two eggs with bacon and the corned beef hash with two eggs. She literally walked off before I was even done ordering. The runner brought us our plates and had no idea which one was which because of how little corned beef was actually on the plate. She first asked us if we could tell them apart and then was like “well it looks like you got the same thing”. We definitely didn’t, it just looked that way because of the massive pile of flavorless potato on both plates. One with specks of corned beef. One without. I also commented that my eggs were wrong and she just walked off. Likely didn’t hear me or just wasn’t listening. Eggs for both dishes were actually wrong and we never got our bacon. We thought we would get to address the issues however no one came back to check on us until they saw we were done and offered the check. At that point it wasn’t worth it. Everyone was running around, stressed, complaining to each other about checks and tables and guys in the back. I get that it’s busy but we were sitting at the bar and our waitress didn’t even make eye contact with us, let alone check on our food. You’re literally already standing there and would have taken 2 seconds to ask. Overall it was just a very uncomfortable visit and even though we live close by we...

I’ve been a regular at Sono Harbor, dining in often and occasionally getting takeout. The food has always been great, and the service from the waitstaff is consistently impeccable.

However, I’m writing this review out of serious concern regarding the kitchen staff. On multiple occasions, the music coming from the kitchen is louder than the music in the dining area—complete with dancing and singing like it’s a nightclub, which disrupts the otherwise relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant.

More troubling, though, is the behavior of some kitchen staff members. My girlfriend has started feeling uncomfortable due to the way certain individuals stare at her and try to get her attention. It’s unprofessional and inappropriate.

The last straw came during our most recent visit. I witnessed a cook attempting to engage with a very young girl. Thankfully, the server intervened immediately and told him to stop, clearly recognizing how inappropriate it was. I was shocked the girl’s father didn’t confront the situation, but regardless, that behavior is not only inappropriate—it’s unacceptable and potentially illegal.

I’m incredibly disappointed because I truly enjoy the food and the front-of-house service, but the actions of the kitchen staff are making this restaurant feel unsafe and uncomfortable. I hope management takes this seriously and...

Place was nice, food was good. My biggest issue was with the service. We got there early, we were one of 2 customers. They took our order and then never came over again and checked on us. 5 more groups of people came in and got their food before us. Clearly they messed up our order, but never came back to talk to us, check on us, offer more coffee when my cup was empty. The place is small, quaint…there are no more than 6 or 7 tables there and the staff could clearly see that everyone else was getting their food and we were still sitting there and no one ever came over to our table. People make mistakes, it happens; but to then be ignored is not acceptable. When I finally got up to ask about my food, without apology, I was told that they are waiting on the order. Then they forgot part of the order which we had to ask for: I’m sure that this place is great, seems to have a lot of regulars, the food was good and we went to this place on a recommendation. But today the service was bad enough for me to...

Delicious breakfasts- Blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup-YUM! friendly and efficient service, great breads and egg dishes too. You HAVE TO TRY their Hot Pastrami sandwiches with Amer Cheese!! They are To-Die for!!!! Veggie Omelet was wonderful. Don't forget about some classic basics like a Grilled with Butter Corn Muffin! Delicious, and healthy, Veggie Lovers' Omelet today (8/15/22). They know how to make large chunk potato hash browns! Only 3 small slices of ( a side of ) avocado was funny - please consider doubling the portion size and charge more. Always efficient and friendly servers. First time back in a while - new group of servers are friendly and very efficient! Thank you. Veggie omelet and blueberry pancakes were delicious!

The best restaurant in Norwalk and some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. I ordered a small Greek salad with chicken souvlaki and a side of sweet potato fries. The chicken was perfectly marinated and the salad had the right amount of dressing. The sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection, they were crispy, fresh and wonderful. My husband ordered the Greek protein breakfast wrap and he said it was great. My husband and I both ordered a freddo espresso (iced espresso), and we felt like we were back in Cyprus. The waitresses were all so friendly and welcoming. If we’re ever back in Connecticut, we’re definitely coming back to this locally owned restaurant.

It was our first time here, the atmosphere was nice, as well as the decor. The menu is on the wall, you're to order first and sit. The sausage, egg&cheese on a hard roll was ordinary. If the roll were buttered & grilled, it would've taken it to the next level. A little extra effort would go a long way here, as well as the lack of friendliness at the counter when ordering.
