It's just such a shame that nobody is assigned a job specifically for this playground! It's a great location, with an awesome view and options to walk around and enjoy nature. But the ground has caved in under that rubber mat that was used upon installing it, so it can be dangerous not only for toddlers running around if they ran over those dips/holes but also for a grownup, who can easily sprain their ankle should they step in them. You find cigarettes and beer bottles or beer cans there, not just on the ground, but even up at the top of the slide. While people can be disresepctful to this place, there should still be a maintenance person checking in on this area and keeping it decent. Especially because it was built in the memory of a...

While dancing atop this former salt marsh and what eventually became the place for Norwalk's expedables. I am amazed at the transformation into a functioning walking, running, biking, meditation place, lookout point and fitness area this has become. It can feel a bit secluded but I feel comfortable spending time alone atop the hill. For those that need more there is a security call box at the peak. There are disc golf stations across the park. It can be windy so this has to be quite a challenge finishing rounds. The noise from Metro North to the west and I-95 to the North is bearable but not the best place for a...

Went there today for the first time, just moved nearby, and wanted to take my sons to play disc golf and just went to check it out. Was very disappointed !! I have seen this park from the highway for some time now and have always been curious. It looks run down and forgotten. The disc golf course has been neglected for some time, that was obvious. No signs to map course, tees half destryoed, baskets falling over. What a joke, I laughed as all i could see is the massive new mall being built, what a shame!!! Norwalk can build malls but can't ma intain a simple little...

Pretty decent park and a nice trail to walk. There’s a little bit of everything for anyone who comes here. Usually clean and well kept. There is a small (free) parking lot. The limit is "90 minutes." In the summer, the ice cream truck drives into the parking lot. Cons: There are dumb kids on mopeds driving on the sidewalk and through the playground. And when it gets dark, there are people smoking marijuana everywhere. I suggest not walking here at night, and if you do, don't go alone.

Lovely park along the Norwalk River with some great walking/jogging trails. A few steps and lots of hills for those looking for a bit of a challenge. The park's paths are long enough to get in a decent workout. Childrens playground in the front of park near the parking lot. Park is clean and well kept. The free parking lot accessible from North Water Street accommodates about 25 vehicles. Walking distance to/from the Maritime Aquarium...great stop before or after your visit there.

I love this park, I walk a dog here every week, it’s something I really look forward to. It’s beautiful climbing to the top of the hill and looking out over the harbor. There is a playground where people can bring their children to run around and play. There are also a lot of benches to sit on and an area where they have some Adirondack chairs where people can sit and relax.
