I was literally just given an attitude by the owner herself to not take pictures. Which I'm completely fine with if the signs were easily visible or if I was asked in a polite way. But I was given such an ATTITUDE by the owner that I decided not to come back at all. I asked her and another male employee to show me the signs but they didn't so I'm just going to assume that there isn't. If they had asked normally/in a polite way then I would have done it immediately without any hesitation. The owner is like 80 so I'm assuming this disrespectful behavior was normalized in her time? Strange. I even apologized to her despite her being so rude. Stop trying to make people (especially minorities) feel like criminals. I only took pictures so I could show my fiancé which rings I wanted. And to show proof that this happened, here are the pictures so everyone can see
EDIT: After reading the owner's response, you asked me once if I needed help as I was looking and I said "No, just looking" because at that point everything was fine. Your tone sounded normal and you didn't show any signs of you being uncomfortable with me taking pictures of the rings that were already locked/enclosed within the glass display. Then the second time, a male employee asked me with a normal tone as well. There was literally no indication that you two were uncomfortable. And the third when you guys gave me an attitude, that's when I asked where the sign was and to point it out to me but you guys refused. Which means there was no sign to begin with. If you have a problem with something you can't just be like "Do you need any help? 😊" With a smile on your face. You have to voice your problem. We are all taught this as children. You guys just held it in until you exploded on me randomly and treated me, the only minority in the store, as a potential thief. This is disgusting and outright appalling and I'm a local especially on that street so I'm going to make sure that word spreads out of how terrible...
Read moreMy husband ordered my custom engagement ring from Pellegrini Jewelers almost two years ago and it is absolutely stunning! We also went to Pellegrini for both of our wedding bands, wedding jewelery, and several wedding gifts for our bridal party. Larry and Carol were extremely nice and helpful throughout the entire process of shopping for our wedding jewelry. They even went the extra mile to have a ring manufacturer custom-make a curved wedding band for me that matched my engagement ring perfectly! Every time we went shopping, they always offered to clean my ring too. It's so refreshing to shop for jewelry without feeling pressured to buy and spend an excessive amount of money. Their prices are more than fair and the quality of their products is amazing. I couldn't be happier with my beautiful engagement ring and wedding band set. Please support this local business and...
Read moreI recently had my Rolex serviced at Pellegrini's, and I wanted to express my sincere appreciation to Larry and Carol for the outstanding work and customer service. My watch is an older model and came in with numerous scratches on the band and clasp, as well as a crack on the glass.
It was a pleasure speaking with Larry and learning about the rich history of his family's business, with his father starting it and Larry continuing the legacy. Knowing that he personally handles all watch repairs gave me immense confidence in trusting him with such a valuable item.
When I received my watch back, I was truly amazed. The scratches are gone, the glass has been replaced, and it looks brand new. Furthermore, the cost was more favorable than other places I had...
