The service was not good at all. To start, it was like 100 degrees in there. We waited in line for at least 20 minutes. They were very obviously short staffed and so slow. All the staff members that were there were flustered and had very bad attitudes. They ran out of creamed spinach all together, had to give us lukewarm mac and cheese because they ran out of hot and then told us it would be another 15 minutes if we wanted it hot. Then they mixed up my family's meals with the meals of our friends family meals then over charged our friends for their food.

We aren't done yet. They ran out of icecream cones, which was what our kids had been looking forward to the whole time. I let the lady behind the counter know (by this time the lunch rush was over and she wasn't very busy) and she blew me off so we had to hunt for the box of extras on the shelf ourselves. When I asked for a to go box for the extra food the kid practically threw it at me.

It was an interesting experience to say the least. The food that we did get was delicious. I would probably give them another chance if they turned things around, maybe it was just a really bad day.

Update I was contacted after posting explaining some of the issues discussed in my review. It was father's day, the air conditioning was broken and they were much busier than expected. They have offered to replace one of our meals. I will see how it goes on our return visit. In the meantime I have changed my review from 1 to 3 stars, because the food did taste good and I appreciated being contacted regarding...

I was very excited to learn that a Dickey's was opening up down the street from me. My job requires me to be on the road quite a bit and Dickeys offers a yummy quick bite to eat (not quite fast food but not quite full service) for a decent price .... However, this location is such a letdown :( The first time I came in to get a meal was a nice experience (but that might have been because it was opening week and they were eager to drum up business) The second visit didn't go so well since they were completely out of chicken and potato casserole at 2 in the afternoon so I left (strike one) ... Now fast fwd a few months and my husband and I stopped in because we were on our way out of town and they were out of chicken again (strike two).... But tonight was the straw that broke the camels back (yes I know I'm a glutton for punishment) ... My husband went in to get a couple meals for us and they had been out of Turkey and chicken since 6:00pm and they close at 9pm!!!! He was flabbergasted at the flippant and rude behavior of the girl behind the counter.... She said they didnt want to waste meat if it didn't sell which I can understand but it was 3 hours before closing!!! Not once did she utter an apology or offer a solution in order to keep a customer happy .... I will NEVER EVER give them another penny!!! If this continues, I'm willing to bet that I am not the only customer they will lose...

Have been here several times, ordering online, and it was delicious fall apart meat with a nice crispy ring! Ordered today, the meat was gray, no crispy ring, half of the slivers of meat were pure fat, and it was tough! Nothing about the food this time was anything like the many past times! However, the issue here is trying to take it back. The people inside had no clue what they were doing. Was told to call corporate, then they called “the owner” who was heard through the phone saying “it was the end of the meat it should’ve been thrown out” and “give them the refund”. The people there didn’t know how to do that so she said she was coming. She showed up with her partner and kids in a Dickey’s branded car. They then said they couldn’t refund it and to call corporate because all online orders went through them. They then came out after us saying we would just dispute it with the bank, the man got way too close in my fiancé’s personal space, and the woman got an attitude and through her hand up at me, like old school “talk to the hand”. I don’t know if ownership has changed in the past few months or what. We will never be back, it has gone way down hill, and the owners are unprofessional, disrespectful, and flat out rude. For $90 I would think they would take pride in their food. But now I know why it was dead as a...

I've ordered from here twice, both times placing my order online. First time I pulled up to the pick up window and sat there for a solid 5 minutes before anyone came over to say anything to me. A mild annoyance but maybe they were busy and trying to catch up on some orders and didn't notice me there. I thought the food was pretty good and in my opinion decently priced for what you get. I was a little turned off by the greasy bbq sauce hand print on my to go box and they did forget the desert i ordered but i called and they refunded the price of the desert to my card. Not the end of the world. On this more recent visit I didn't have the same issues with waiting at the window but this time there was twice as many greasy handprints on my to go box and the paper my girlfriends sandwich was wrapped up in was drenched in grease. This really leaves me with the impression that employees don't care about cleanliness and don't change their gloves often. Really makes me question the sanitary practices here. Both of our meats were pretty dry and didn't seem very fresh. Was also pretty disappointed that instead of the advertised texas toast I got a rock solid dinner roll. I'd probably risk another visit if it weren't for the apparent cleanliness issues. 2.5/5

Wow how this place has fallen. I used to eat here frequently pre-covid for lunch. It was decent food for the price. My favorite is the Frito Pie. Because of location I haven't been there in a while but was craving Frito Pie. First, they didn't have any Fritos. So the guy recommended a mac stack. I got it to go. Cardinal sin of a bbq establishment... do not skimp on sauce! They used to have sauce pumps out. Now you get one jello-shot container of sauce. That is a joke! Oh but you can buy additional "shots" for 80 cents each. Wow. They used to have homemade blondie bars. Now they have much smaller prepackaged not as good ones for more expensive. I get my food home and this is literally a bunch of so-so mac and cheese and some dry brisket on top. That plus drink plus blondie was $18. I know shrinkflation is the thing now but I can see why the place was empty on a Saturday afternoon. And the freestlye soda fountain was out of most things. I doubt I will be back anytime soon.

Used to like the food; had not been there for quite awhile, has really gotten bad. On Father's Day this year, placed and paid for a carry out order online at 2 to pick up at 4pm. Received a phone call at 3pm from someone from Dickey's saying that they were not caught up and the order will be ready at 5:30. My son arrived at 5:30 and had to wait until 6 to receive the order. *Chopped brisket was under cooked, congealed fat and tasteless. *Smoked turkey was rubbery and salty. *Cabbage slaw had a strange taste of way too much sugar and vinegar. *The Texas toast was good, and the only thing that was edible. I tried calling the restaurant several times that evening and even the following day and there was not an answer. Very disappointing, would Not recommend.
