Dear Sports Clips, as a new customer, I was looking forward to heading over to Great Clips on 3951 Britton Parkway, in Hilliard, Ohio to get our haircut. Let's be honest, life is busy, and so we do what we can to maximize our time. Around 6pm, I signed-up for the app for the very first time and found this location to be the closest. At about 6:20, I signed in for three people to get cuts, in the meanwhile we hurring to make and eat our dinner. I arrived at the store at 6:35 with my app still telling me we are next in line. What's this??? -The store was closed. FRUSTRATED. To me, it's a simple gesture. If you are going to close the store early, especially when I am on the waitlist, call me! You have my phone number and email address through the app. Your stores lack of courtesy cost me 30 minutes of lost time. Lastly, when I called the store number, to leave a message about this experience, it gave me a message saying that 1) I was a valued customer and 2) If the associates aren't reaching the phone, then they are busy with a customer. Drove across town and myself and others were very upset to discover the shop was closed and locked and the lights were off, despite the fact that we all had online checkins alerting us it was our turn. No sign on the door indicating closure for Juneteenth, staffing shortage, or any other reason. I called another location nearby and they were open but had a 90 minute wait. That location shared our confusion about why this location wouldn't be open, too.
Very frustrating to get your young kids ready, into the car, and prepared for haircuts before nap only to drive across town for nothing and have to join a whole new waitlist and wait all over again elsewhere because someone couldn't be bothered to turn off online checkin when they knew they wouldn't be open, and worse yet, couldn't even put a courtesy sign in the store window explaining...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWalked in today with both of our sons. Maybe waited 30 mins, which us great for a walk in, and then had an excellent experience. Libby and Stephen did our boy's hair. Both were awesome and we were extremely impressed with Stephen's barber skills. I have not seen that calibur and technique used in a very very long time. Props to you man, our son Cole is absolutely in love with his fresh look. Miss. Libby you perfectly cut our oldests hair and he loves it, and he is a picky little tween lol. We appreciate the kindness and how personable you guys were with all of us. That is how a salon/barber shop experience should be and we will be back to...
