You've got to be kidding? 7 bucks for a coffee. Somebody's brilliant idea of opening a coffee shop like Starbucks but set up like Chick-fil-A with a drive-thru. McDonald's is right next door but I didn't want their typical coffee. So I tried this place. You pull around and wait and they have no menu just a barcode so you have to stick your phone out the window and tried to read it on your phone. Then a young lady comes up dead of winter cold and wet she's out there with her little tablet taking orders. I say somebody competing with Starbucks all I want is a small black coffee. Do you have real hot chocolate, yes made with chocolate milk. Ok. Well how about a small hot chocolate and make the coffee cup larger so I can dump the chocolate into it? She says it would be easier just order a mocha. So that's hot chocolate and hot coffee? Yes she says. So I pull up and there's nobody at the window with the two lanes but four or five people inside the shop making coffee for crying out loud. So I sit there and I watch them fiddling around and I see one girl make a coffee and then set it down on the counter. Nobody picks it up to bring it out. Why because the two girls taking orders with tablets are walking clear down the line of cars taking orders because there's no damn menu! Brilliant business model. So I sit and wait while several cars pull up and leave and finally one girl with a tablet walks in and picks up the cup and brings it to me. It's cold. I give it back and say hot chocolate and hot coffee please. She says it's a mocha... All right let me explain how about a hot mocha this time? I asked are they dumping cold chocolate milk or just some flavoring mix into my hot coffee? She doesn't know young people don't know anything. So I watched them make another one and she finally brings it out. I say at least the cup is hot and as I'm pulling out I say I won't be back. Unbelievably they're in about 20 States. Americans are suckers. Oh and by the way if you look at the reviews you can tell who the employees are posting fake five-star reviews. How about making the place work instead...
Read moreTypically my service here is amazing. I honestly love the coffee and drinks they make and most staff are very friendly, today however I ran into a very negative experience. I will admit that though I didn’t handle the situation the best I could, I feel as though the 7brew employee could have also handled it better too. There was a pretty decent line and I was right where the lanes split, I had yet to move to a lane because there wasn’t much of an opening, before I could move to a lane a car cut me off and cut 5+ other people in line who had been waiting there for awhile. This is the part where I was in the wrong, I was honking at the man that cut me in line, and it was definitely not my best moment, but I was angry and he also flipped me off, which only added fuel to the flame. An employee came over shortly after my excessive honking, I tried to explain myself, to which she cut me off and wasn’t listening. I told her that the guy cut me off and she said that it was my fault because I wasn’t pulled up more and people will do that. I apologized to her many times for my obnoxious behavior and that I hadn’t meant to disrupt the employees that were working, she wasn’t receptive and kept telling me that what I did wasn’t helping, to which I had already admitted and apologized for. She also informed me that they were understaffed so there was an extra wait, I let her know that I was in no way upset with how long they were taking, just that I was cut in line, to which she replied, “well you need to work on you patience.” Overall I think that her response and attitude to the situation was unhelpful and made it worse, I wasn’t the only one who was cut in line, yet everyone behind me also was effected by it. No one ever talked to the rude customer, which I find very inappropriate. 7 brew needs to come up with a way to deal with cutting customers so that the behavior isn’t encouraged. I ended up leaving because I was upset and I didn’t like how the ordeal...
Read moreI’ve always loved this 7Brew location for its wide variety of drinks. However, I’ve recently limited my nightly visits due to ongoing issues with customer service, attentiveness, and drink quality.
I typically stop by around 8 PM before work and order a Large Iced Mocha with Toasted Marshmallow flavoring and oat milk. On a recent visit (Monday, September 1st), my drink was made incorrectly twice, light in color and with the wrong milk. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was met with a disengaged attitude and told, “That’s the way it was ordered,” despite consistently ordering the same drink in the past with no issues.
Beyond the drink mistake, the overall environment was unprofessional. Several employees were standing around, having inappropriate conversations, and showing little direction. It was hard to tell if any manager was even present or in charge. Despite this, I still enjoy this location and will continue visiting during the day, when service is much better. However, night management and operations need serious improvement to reflect the company’s values shared on their...
