I always love staying in hilton properties,and never ever had a problems or issues until this hampton inn and suites in columbus hilliard Ohio accused me and my family that we broke a night stand and keft it on the floor in the room š³šš¤that we stayed last aug 31,2024 for 1 night.according to the manager(megan) that when we left our room on sept 1st, the night stand was knocked down and found on the floor by housekeepingš¤š and charged us $150 in my husbandās CC without our knowledge,no receipt ,no explanation and not even a picture that they said they haveš¤but upto now ( almost a week has passed since I talked to the manager) no picture in my emailš¤hmmm maybe theyāre still trying to figure out how they can edit the picture so they can blame it to mešI was surprised to see a charged of $150 in our CC and cluessless what is it for? I only received the receipt for the room but for this $150 charge nope, itās just appear as hampton inn in our CCš¤first of all,My family and I are not stupid to break things specially in the hotels.we know how to respect people and properties specially I used to work with hampton in mentor for long years (almost 9 yrs) my reputation is absolutely excellent and Iām proud to say this.and Iām not dumb to ruined my reputation and my husbandās reputation whoās been working with the government for so many years. second,we would picked it up if it was on the floor so it wonāt be obviousšbut thereās nothing to be picked up because we didnāt do anything at allšand everytime we stayed in the hotels whether its hilton properties or any brand,I always make sure that we left our room in good shape,all trash in the bins,dirty towels are lined up on the floor,pmultiple check the room that we did not forget anything.just because we were the last guests who checked out from that room,that it was our doingš¤šthey need to investigate more.I hate to say this ( I donāt like to accussed housekeeping)but it could be someone from the housekeeping whoās afraid to say it.or it could be the other guests before us and tried to fixed it and itās just happened when it was our turned to stay in that room,the night stand fell by itself.or because of that āgiant guestā above us, everytime the guest above us walk,geez,it was so loud and feels like the ceiling is going to collapsedš¤ŖI smell and feel something fishy with the managerās accussation.God knows and I swear,we are telling the truth.one truth prevails.so everyone,better watch out,any one of you could be a victim of their wrong accussations.our conscience is clean,we are not guilty,because we did not do anything or break anything at all thatās it and God knows that and he is our witnessšGod...

I spoke to a very helpful representative who booked our stay. We had a suite with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a living room. I got a call about an hour later from a man who was working at this pecific hotel and he was calling to tell me the system was messed up and that he needed to cancel my reservation as the room was booked six moths ago. He did not offer any kind of solution what so ever and was only calling to give me the bad news. When I told him I guess we would have to completely cancel he enthusiastically said okay! After I got off the phone with this man I called the number I had previously made the reservation with. I spoke to another man who asked for my confirmation number and told me that the room was booked. I explained how I felt we were canceled due to the fact that we paid for a one night stay and I'm assuming someone called in wanting to book the weekend and that I did not believe the bogus "there was a glitch in the system" excuse. He then put me on hold to contact the hotel himself and after being on hold for some time he came back on the phone to tell me that he could not get a straight answer as to why my reservation was canceled thus confirming what I already knew. I then asked him to speak to a manager to voice my frustrations . I waited in hold for 20 minutes for a lady to finally come on the phone. She never even introduced herself and I had to ask am I speaking to a manager? She said yes and told me they had one king room for the price I was paying for the ENTIRE SUITE. I laughed and said that is not a solution by any means. I was even willing to have completely separate rooms as long as they were connected. Her response was when you get there you can request it. This is how you treat your customers? Being a manager mysef in a completely different field I still couldn't imagine myself treating a customer/patient in this manner. We already booked this as well as paid for our zoo tickets all over my lunch break only to be canceled on with ZERO solution. When I have to cancel a patients appointment I always apologize offer some kind of solution Vs saying your canceled okay bye! Extremely unprofessional and I don't see myself or family staying with this company in the future. Your "manager" needs additional training in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love staying at this hotel stayed here often was just here last week only this week my fiance goes into checking and the woman says that she will not accept our ID because it is a Columbus id so we told her that we no longer than Columbus just haven't had our IDs switched over we do not live in West Virginia that we are up here for work and instead of driving home that we're just going to stay up here because we got to come back up next week and not only that we just stayed up here last week so then my fiance says all right that's fine can I speak to a manager and I bet you can guess where this is going she was the manager so now this woman is making policies now that she made herself manager I think somebody here at IHG Hampton inn I think you need to check this hotel because we are was very very loyal and stayed here often and cleaned up after ourselves and definitely was mindful of everything we kept to ourselves we was quiet which I can't say for a lot of people I mean we've had some bad times at this place and never said anything because they let a lot of people stay there that you know I kind of taken as an insult and now that they won't let me stay there but I've seen some of the stuff that they let stay there. I don't know what grudges woman had against us but I can guarantee you that if it was anybody else besides her any of the other women that we they would have greeted us and said nice to see you again I think that woman just made that up because we have always been treated very nice so why was this woman acting like she was she acted very unprofessional I really want to speak to someone about this because no one should be treated like that and that's the whole thing she was very disrespectful and should be wrote up and sanctioned I would fire someone like that if it was my company definitely looks bad on Hampton looks like they don't care because she doesn't. And you can tell that she knows she can talk to and treat customers however she feels and knows she won't be fired or even talked to about disrespecting paying customers that are regulars well was regulars and my company gets hotels through them also we just had 32 people in the Hampton in Athens Ohio I'm going to start getting through comfort inn and my whole crew...
