So disappointed. Ordered this for delivery around 430pm (meaning, not a crazy busy dinner time rush) I am a vegetarian so I ordered tacos with cauliflower rice (there’s an up -charge ) and the quinoa filling as my protein( for $4 additional charge). I also ordered guac on the tacos (extra charge) and then a side of chips and guac. The meal came, and looked so unappetizing. I understand the taco shells get soft in transit so I put that aside. But there was about 1 tablespoon of seemingly unseasoned quinoa on each taco, a smear of cauliflower rice, also Unflavored, which I note cost extra, there was NO guacamole that I paid extra for on the tacos, and the shredded lettuce was a few pieces of wilted iceberg lettuce. The shredded cheese was an afterthought and not even warm, literally pulled out of a fridge and thrown on top after the tacos were thrown together. The only positive was that I did get my side of chips and guac and the guac did taste fresh. And all this, some chips and guac and these really sad “tacos”, cost me $30. Actually, More with tip, and meanwhile the driver left the bag sitting on a chair in the lobby of my apartment building....
Read moreChipotle was closed and my wife and I wanted burrito bowls. So we noticed this place online near the area and settled for fuego since they had good reviews from other people. I feel like we must have gone on an off night…..Saturday!!!I was excited to try a new place but was disappointed when I got home. The guacamole taste like it was saturated in lime juice and veggies/cauliflower rice were marinated in salt. If they cut back on salt and lime juice it would have been pretty good to be honest. I was pleasantly surprised they had jalapeños as a topping though. Overall there need to be improvements to salt levels because it just didn’t taste right. Let me know if you can make these slight changes and we will be sure to give it...
Read moreFuego is The best Mexican takeout place ever and I don’t think it’s even close. I have had bowls and burritos here. Portions are generous. Meats are marinated to perfection be it chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa, or the patented taco seasoned quinoa which is my wife’s new favorite. There is also cauliflower rice for keto lovers which is unheard of on a Mexican fast food place. Guacamole is fresh and fajita vegetables are moist. Each salsa is distinct in its flavor. I literally find every excuse in the book to come here even though it’s over half an hour drive from Franklin. But I would rather get food from Fuego for a little bit more money which is totally worth it than from a place like Chipotle which is a sorry excuse for...
