QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Norwood

Today (7/2/2022) at around 8:30 PM I went to this Qdoba in the Rookwood commons. I ordered "Cheese Crusted Quesadilla" to go. When I was checking out I was asked if need anything else so I asked for small queso (the small complimentary one as I have always been told during all of my previous visits there and I have been going to that location since 2015) so the lady who made my order said it's in the Quesadilla and even for the small one there is $1 charge. I got confused because during my all of previous visits I was asked if I want the free queso (the small complimentary one and $1 charge was for a larger one) besides the guac and sour cream. I mentioned the same to the lady at the counter so then she very rudely tells me - "I AM THE GENERAL MANAGER HERE and there will be $1 charge". I didn't want to argue for $1 so I said it's ok and paid extra. But the point here is why did during all of my previous visits since 2015 I was specifically asked during check out if want the small complimentary queso or not and I never had to pay for it? Was the lady who made my order and calling herself as GM not informed properly or your staff that was always giving me that as complimentary (the small one) since 2015 never knew about it? Regardless of this I had never expected the manager to be that rude to such old customers and no doubt that location is mostly empty whenever I go there. Wish there was a possibility of giving them lower than 1...

This spot has the worst customer service ever! I was so surprised as this was gonna be my first time trying Qdoba but now it will never happen! I ordered a chicken queso bowl and the dude making my food, made it how he wanted and then had the nerve to tell me it comes with no rice, where it clearly says it. I'm like look up on your wall, so he got an attitude, starting piling up rice in the bowl and just threw the other toppings on top and shoved it down to the cashier. I'm like you didnt even put queso on it, he then got smart and said yea I did!! At that point I'm not gonna eat no food made with an attitude or anger, so I decided to walk out. It seems to me he was prejudice cause it was white and Asian people before me that didn't get that same treatment. So I suggest anyone of color to not support this location!! QDOBA is usually pretty consistent as far as the food goes, seeing it is a chain. It's typically better than Chipotle as the ingredients seem fresher over all but not this location. Came in two hours before closing and the dining area was a disaster. Food, trash and debris left on the tables and floor. Ordered my food and it looked like they were trying to not have to restock as it looked as it had been sitting for a long time and it was the last portions at the bottom of the containers. Portions were skimpy for almost $9 an entree and the staff were rude especially the gentleman helping me who was also seen collecting the trash from the receptacles and then serving food without changing gloves or washing. After finding the table with the least amount of filth I went to wash my hands and saw that the restroom was filthy. This is the last time I will be eating at...
