Avoid this place like its got the plague when you see the woman who works lunch time. She was terrible. Absolutely disrespectful and it was the kind of nasty one would expect from 1st graders who missed nap time. I paid 2 times for 1 drink because the size was wrong and I had no problem doing so because I want what I want. I even gave the other chai to the barista who took my order wrong.after spending 18 on a cinnamon roll with icing a chai latte and ANOTHER chai latt and 4$ in tips- I realized it's paper straws, and idk about you, but I HATE paper. I can taste it. So I walked to the side of the counter that had the open side and I asked the guy who made my drink for another cup with a lid to sip on and this lady comes out and interrupted me while I was saying thanks to the guy, like I didn't exist at all. So I stood there for a moment til she was done interrupting so I could say thanks and as soon as she sees me (i was 1 foot DIRECTLY in front if her) she stops mid sentence to him and Starts in on me in this nasty nasally time saying i cant be right there. Well I was on customer SIDE CLEARLY.AND IF she has preference to have customers give a few feet of clearance from the "imaginary line" that separates staff from customers, then she should post a sign and definitely never talk to anybody like that. The disrespect that I just endured had pushed me off the edge for Peetz looks like I will have to switch to Starbucks because they have customer service. Coffee is great at Peet's but that was just disgusting today. Nov 4...
Read moreLike any other Peet's in all of the good ways, but special in one particular way that I find new and surprising. What way is that you ask? Well, I will tell you. It is the staff, and the patrons that make this place really awesome. Despite my best attempt to stay quiet and avoid people like I SO successfully accomplish at my neighboring Starbuckses...err..Starbucksie..Starbucksooses, yeah that ones I think. Instead when I walk into this Peet's it is inevitable that a patron will turn to toss the end of a punchline to a silly joke in my direction, or a barista will ask how my day was, and follow THAT UP with a response to what I said. Can you believe that? They are not just programmed coffee drones, they are actually engaging people. Weird...I know, and scary at first. Especially for a recluse such as myself. However, no matter what I do, I still secretly find it funny when the barista says "Mmmmmm" while pouring caramel sauce on the top of my morning latte. Hilarious. Good...
Read moreI like Peets coffee better than Starbucks so I'm biased, Starbucks coffee black is gross - its too acidic. For this particular store I do find that ordering on the app you sometimes are left waiting past the time they say it will be done. Also, their mixed drinks aren't very consistent. Their pumpkin lattes are great but sometimes it just tastes like milk. Black ties are amazing as well but sometimes they don't mix them right either. This Peets is a toss-up. You will either get your stuff quick or slow and it will be on point or miss the mark. I will always choose Peets over Starbucks so I will keep coming; hopefully they get it right more times than...
