Aromi Di Napoli LLC — Restaurant in Nutley

We come here regularly because as far as the freshness and flavor of their baked goods, nothing disappoints… the reason I can’t give 5 stars is because of the cake decorating. I asked for a very simple round cake with white fondant icing and 2 blue fondant letters and it was unbelievably sloppy. The piping was very messy/uneven all the way around the cake and the letters looked terrible. Just zoom in to the picture so you can see how uneven the stitching is, especially on the letter “J”. I could have absolutely done a better job on this and I am by no means artistic. You would think you’re paying a decorator to do a better job than you would but this is clearly not the case. Whoever did this was super careless and rushing, I can’t imagine getting a more intricate design if this is how terrible a VERY SIMPLE cake came out. I also ordered a Minnie cake from here a year ago and the red fondant dots and bow were covered in a weird white powder. The cake looked very dirty and sloppy. Again, both cakes were absolutely delicious and fresh but they need to invest in a better decorator because the decor on the outside should match the flavor...

I am very particular when ordering birthday cakes. So I decided to order my birthday cake from Aroma Di Napoli bakery based on its delicious pastries first time. I ordered the Dulce De Leche cake. Ashley was so helpful n took time to explain about the cake (s) n their flavors. The day before pick up, I called to change the color n size of the cake. I even spoke with the baker, Duber who took his time n was so helpful n caring about my order. So I picked up my cake n I was so surprised to see how pretty it looked. My first time ordering a cake from them n it did not disappoint. It was so tasty n just perfect texture, the flavor of the tres leches with caramel n the cake...perfect yet consistent n not watery. It was a hit ! Thank you Aromi Di Napoli for making my bday. I'll come back for more. I recommend this bakery 👌 for its delicious pastries,...

So my wife loves the chocolate cannolis and I do also but the only problem that I have is for the price $2.50 each for the tiny cannolis that they sell every single one of them only has cannoli filling on each end and the middle is empty completely empty this is has happen to me twice now and the 2 time I have purchased a dozen each time every single dozen has been empty in the middle this is ridiculous for the price I am paying which is $27.50 I might as well go to calandras and get them there times are hard out here in 2023 and I’m trying my best to keep little bakery’s like this in business but if your going to short end me then I might as well take my business somewhere else get it together and fill the damn...
