I had an amazing first experience here when it first opened with some local neighbors. The owner I assume kindly even shared with us some assorted dessert treats to try. Absolutely generous & marvelous in taste! I can't forget the falafels during my visit here, quite unforgettable for the portion size of them & I believe he said were fried with olive oil. Do you not understand how much I appreciate that?!? From a nutrition standpoint, I love that so0o much compared to cheap inflammatory oils! So I returned today (after a few months cooking home) craving those nom bomb falafel balls & the lady kindly said they weren't anymore left & offered to check anything else on the menu. I was about to walk out (with hopes to return) but I decided to take some time out to check for any other gluten free, dairy free option & I saw the plant based slouvaki! I was ready! And to my dismay, the lady wasn't so sure about it either being in stock & when the kitchen guys were inquired it seemed as though it hasn't been ordered quite enough for them to know it was or wasn't available at the moment. So, they kindly apologized & I was disheartened, but I was hungry so I left grumpy. Regardless, on the other perspective, one thing I can say is that if the falafel was knowingly sold out, that means they ARE THAT GOOD & I'm glad that this new place is selling out yummy stuff. So I'm not that mad, I know I'll return... I'll just make sure to come earlier!

Had an excellent Greek City Platter, no feta & a little shepherd salad added. And took an awesome beef & lamb gyro to-go. Service was fantastic, above & beyond but the two women there were EXTREMELY overworked. It seemed like just two people working and the customer/order load was way too much for any small team like that... They still handled it crazy well but Pita Bowl needs to make sure to properly staff the place, especially for Friday? This type of business and location needs 3-5 people minimum depending on the day instead of breaking the backs of just two incredibly hard workers. Bless and over-pay them for dealing with us. What they handled alone was absurd! I wanna come back and see a fully staffed, happy, and relaxed team handling this crazy army of orders. And all the rude, needy customers who come on these busy, hot days. I enjoyed my food a lot, but I don't enjoy seeing people get taken advantage of!

This is right across from my school and I always see everyone going there for lunch. I finally decided to go check this place out yesterday. First the inside is super cute and I love how they have parking for their customers and they had so many options. I was nervous to get something big so I asked if I can get one chicken kabob and grape leaves and they were so nice and accommodating. The chicken was so fresh! It was so delicious the flavors and perfection of grill taste was there but I will say it did take long thou because it was fresh to made the grape leaves were okay they had flavors but I would still get again overall the experience was good with the service I received and the food I got definitely will be my new place to get lunch.

The food is awesome and they even have gluten free options, however every time I order from here something goes wrong with my order, every single time. I feel like things can be improved as far as organization and communication. I just ordered one sandwich for close to 20 dollars. The store told me that it would be ready at 307 and that if it was ready sooner, they would text me. I did not receive a text so I waited till 307. I went inside and my sandwich was in a bag sitting there and I said to the employee - “this was ready for how long?” And he said 15 minutes. So I said, “Why didn’t you text me” and he said “Oh I forgot” meanwhile, there was nobody in the store. It was completely dead, and my bag is sitting there and there’s another employee in the restaurant as well, doing nothing.

Needless to say, my sandwich was ice cold. And not only that, I’m on lunch break since I work up the street, so time is of the essence in this case.

I’ve also dealt with getting the wrong item, missing item. Would just love if one time, everything comes out right.

Their food is really good though and that’s the only reason I would come back but I am hoping that they work on management and customer service aspect.

I would suggest trying them though since...

I randomly discovered this restaurant via google a few weeks ago and called in for a takeout order. They have online ordering but I was driving so calling in over the phone was easier. I had no idea what to order but the person on the phone was friendly and patient with me and helped me decide what to order. I ordered the beef and lamb bowl which blew me away. The meat was juicy and flavorful. The rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy, and the pita was soft just how i like it. That dish has been my go-to so far along with the beef and lamb gyro lunch special. I recently ordered the lentil soup as well. I have visited this restaurant more times in the past few weeks than i would care to admit and everything that I have ordered so far is always on point as far as taste, portion size and quality. The location is very easy to access and there is a small parking lot right in front of the restaurant. The atmosphere and decor is really cute and there are tables if you want to eat in. The service is also always consistent. Everyone is always welcoming and friendly whether they are behind the corner taking your order or in the kitchen preparing food. So far I have only been here for take-out but one of these days I will come in...
