New Xin Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Nutley

Today was the end for me eating at this place. I’ve been ordering here for over 3 years mainly the same dishes. However today I placed an order with a guy for jumbo shrimp with fries and chicken wings with fries along with cheese wontons. He stated that it’s 10 piece shrimp I said ok. I go to the store pick up my order only to get home and fine 4 hard shrimp no fries with my order only for the chicken wings. I called immediately to let them know what happened and they kept saying oh we only charged you for one order. After herring it from the lady that he was new and did not know that it’s only 4 pieces of shrimp. I said you didn’t give me fries and I want a refund. The right thing to do was make my order over so you don’t lose a customer but they didn’t care not one bit and for that I will never order from here...

I ordered chicken in garlic sauce with white rice and chicken lo mein with chicken fried rice like wise to every other place I've gone too. I noticed it did not have the baby corns which is one of my favorites but that was not the issue. The water chestnuts (again a favorite) had a horrible old and sour taste to them. Once again I gave it a shot and continued. When I bit into one of the chickens it was chewy and hard and I spit it out and stopped eating immediately. I asked how the chicken lo mein was and tested it, it was super oily and tasted burned. I am very disappointed. Only good thing is the chicken & rice soup.... Also they don't give you any fortune...

I called this evening to place and order and got a recording that my number is on their "SMART BLOCK" list. Guess the young lady did this after I called and complained that crab wonton were fried too hard. They were so hard that I experienced pain to the roof of my mouth. This place was my favorite and only place I would get Chinese food from in Nutley. Guess I 'll have to go in to place my order or call from another number. Or go to my other favorite place in Montclair. You've...
